Training XMount, Training Anchor Mount for Suspension-Trainer Straps, Bracket Mount for Suspension-Training Equipment

I asked my spouse to install this into the stud above the linen closet on the second floor, and I attached a blue resistance band to a cross bar and this bracket. It's nice and heavy and very strong. I can stand beneath it and do lateral pull downs just like those I did on an expensive machine at the Physical Therapy department. It's reasonably unobtrusive because I chose the pale gray finish, which is smooth and burr free. We used a longer, stronger screw for ours, just for extra safety.

The mount works well with the TRX system

This is an easy solution for mounting the TRX system. I put it right on a stud and it has been solid as a rock.

I was thinking about either buying this or an offbrand ceiling anchor. I am really glad I bought the TRX brand ceiling anchor. It’s so much easier to connect the straps too. I’ve been using this for over two weeks now to work out with I haven’t had a single issue and it was super easy to install.

I installed this at the top of a wall into a stud as instructed. I used the 1/4” drill bit. The lag bolt went in nicely and this bracket feels rock solid in the wall. It is not going anywhere. The powder coat was scratched on mine, but I’m not concerned as it was just cosmetic. But this does seem to be an issue for this product as I have read many other reviews where the purchaser has had the same problem (damaged powder coating ). For the high price of the x-mount, one would think TRX would be able to ship a product that’s not damaged.

I searched and searched; read product descriptions, reviews; everything when I was looking for a ceiling x-mount for my aerial silks till I came across this one. This ceiling x-mount is MOST CERTAINLY worth the higher price! Compared to most other cheaper x-mounts, this mount features: • Heavier Duty, Powder Coated Steel Construction • Slightly Larger (LxWxH - 6 x 4.75 x 2) • Plastic Cover Backing Plate (to protect sheetrock or whatever you mount it to) • 2 each- Heavy Duty Lag Bolts • 2 each- Fitted Plastic Cover Caps for lag bolts (lag bolt cover caps provide a more seemless and cohesive appearance) My personal preference: I was seeking a ceiling mount that was "WHITE IN COLOR". I wanted to conceal or not draw your eye to the ceiling x-mount when I take my aerial silks down because I mounted my silks in the middle of my living room. Overall, this mount superseded my expectations- not only in look but in construction too.
