Great product!
This product is great. I didn’t have any room to store bikes and park my car in my garage. This solved the problem. Installation was easy once I found the studs. Easy enough for my 10 year old to put his bike up and down.

Good for lifting heavy eBikes
I bought these hoists because of their 100 lbs. capacity. I have two eBikes that weigh 75 lbs. and 64 lbs. with the batteries installed. I have stored them with batteries removed so they each weight at least 7 lbs. less.I wanted to hang the bikes perpendicular to the way the ceiling joists run so with 5/16" thick 4" long wood lag screws I first attached a 5-foot length of 2x4 across three joists for each of the hoists. I made sure to find the center of the joist and drilled pilot holes so the screws go through the 2x4 and up into the joists in the center. I attached the hoist brackets to these 2x4s which meant I did not have to position the hoist brackets exactly on joists.I have seen other reviews mentioning the included wood screws for mounting the brackets are too short or not strong. I had no such issues as I only needed the screws to go through the 2x4 and not into any joists. They are plenty strong and went in well with a socket wrench after drilling pilot holes.The video installation instructions on YouTube or the Proslat site are superior to the printed installation instructions. Nothing tells you what socket/wrench sizes are needed so it was trial and error to find the right ones.The hoists look and feel solid and it was relatively easy to lift these heavy eBikes with the hoist pulley system.The rope is very long and is plenty to lift the eBikes up to my 11-foot ceiling. I don't know how durable the rope will be since it is very soft (cotton?) and stretchy and perhaps I will need to replace it with a more heavy-duty nylon rope in the future.The rope brake system works very well both when lifting the eBikes up and lowering them.

Decent hoist system
OK hoist, supplied mounting fasteners a little short so I put in my own. Actual hoist seems right for the money. The supplied rope material a bit stretchy but seems to work.

Nice quality product, but the description clearly identifies 2 sets, I received 1, I have made numerous attempts, but have yet to resolve!

Heavy metal with cheap plastic pulleys. It will do the job for me but I would not trust it for everyday use.
