It took me some time to pick the right one for me, but this one is really good. It has very bright white lights and two other settings for lights which I don't use, but the bright white lights are awesome! It is just right for here at my desk for reading smaller print, or even regular print. Having the light on things helps me a lot.One day I put it on and it wouldn't turn on. I thought I had purchased a bad product, but found out when I opened the battery compartment that the batteries were not in all the way. They must have come out a little when I put it down after use. (I had used it for several weeks already when this happened.)I was so glad that there was nothing wrong with it because it's a very good product. It probably needs some sort of strap over the batteries to keep them them from moving out, or a tighter battery cover, but I am just gentle with it when I place it on the desk and that has taken care of this issue.

I've tried a few handheld magnifiers similar to this one. This is the best so far.Not too heavy; well balanced; comfortable to hold; easy to use button; bright and even illumination; the image is clear, sharp, low-distortion, wide field; comes with a sturdy pouch that's easy to slip this into and out of.So far, having three colors of light has not made a difference to me. And you have to be careful not to press on the button when you don't want the light on (for example, when it's in its pouch). Other than that, it's great.

Needed a magnifying glass for reading . I want to be able to see my words big and clear . Work out perfectly I was able to read my letter finally . Lighting is good so I can read in bed or anywhere I like to . If your looking for magnifying glass for reading I would suggest this one . Comes with a carrying case and a soft cloth for cleaning . I am completely satisfied with this purchase .

It is very heavy & didn't come with pouch to keep it in. Bought 2 & neither had the pouch.

I liked it but it was a little to heavy for me. It was easy yo hold and the light was very bright

Brightness and magnification are good. Better than others I've tried but the battery connection is too loose which requires one to keep fussing with it to keep the lamps lit.

Good size, easy to hold. Very disappointed batteries were not included.
