I like it!
First time switching over to a curved bar. Being north of 6' and 200 pounds, it made a world of difference in the shower. The product is of good quality and the included hardware is the same. I basically skipped the instructions (cause I am a man) and based my mounting points on how low I wanted my 72" curtain to hang.If I had to pick a hard part, it was putting the caps over the brackets once the rod was up and getting that twist in there to lock the caps in place. If I had to pick a negative, it's that it came (in true Amazon fashion) in a box that could have literally fit about 30 of these packages in. It would have made a great moving box.Overall, easy install for one person. Probably took 10 minutes if that. Recommended for a cheap and decent looking way to get a bit of extra room in the shower. I'll update on rust down the road.Update at + 2 years, I'm not having any rust problems and it still looks good.

Curved Is Great!!!
Love, Love, Love!!! Gives you 5”- 8” extra elbow space. Nice design addition to BR. Very good Quality. Highly recommend switching from a straight rod to this curved rod.

This is something everyone should have
If you have a shower with a curtain, this is the curtain rod you need. It makes a regular shower feel like a palace. So much more space, and you arent pushing the curtain away all the time. Its the perfect length, and the pole is super easy to install. Just have a drill if you are going through sheetrock, and make sure you mount it to a stud. But its solid like a rock. Looks pretty too. I dont want to picture my bathroom right now, but rest assured. Its nice. Everyone should have one!

Good value-for-money but installation could be smoother
The bar looks good and should function well. The installation method and Hardware seem to be a little bit cheap. From what I can see you when comparing this to other similar products, the installation could be easier and more intuitive. Quality of the installation Hardware seem to be markedly less than that of the bar overall. Nonetheless, I got the bar installed and it looks and works fine.Ok

Rusted badly, now I can’t remove it
It rusted badly and now I can’t remove it. I’ve tried WD40, Dawn dish soap. I’m going to have to hire someone. Originally purchased in Oct 2018 and used in the guest bathroom. It’s been rusted for awhile but I just got around to dealing with it

Roomy Curved Shower Curtain Rod
Well I’m a 63 year old female who had never installed one of these before. I’ve seen them in hotels and liked the extra shower area space they provided so decided it was time for us to have one in our guest bathroom shower. My husband decided to make this a teaching moment so he had me measure, drill, install wall anchors and screws and put the whole thing up. Must say it was pretty easy. However I’m usually my own handy woman and enjoy some level of independence, just because!!I also hung the vinyl and decorative curtains together on each shower hook. Way easier than having double tension rods. I decided to give this shower a test run to see if the extra space was worth the work. In just three words. YES FOR SURE..Gives what feels like an extra 1ft to 1.5 ft area of extra elbow and turning room inside the shower area. Wish I had done this years ago and well worth the little effort.

Worth the price paid but careful when screwing in the wall
A little difficult to stand in the tub and scew in but definitely worth the price paid.

If using on 4-foot shower...
I bought this because I have a 1-piece shower that has a front "frame" and wanted something that would bring the curtain inside of that frame. For that purpose this will do nicely. The problem is that when compressed to 4 feet the ends are not 90 degrees to the wall. So I created a jig to slowly bend the ends and inserted wrench deep-sockets into the ends to keep them from collapsing. I did get some minor buckling right at the bend itself, but the flange still fits over the pipe, so no big deal.3 stars because it is advertised as 4-5 foot, but it really doesn't work as is in a 4-foot application. Either the ends need to be bent as I have done, or a property angled shim would have to go under the mounts. This is a new install so I am unable to comment on durability.
