Serra-RX 40,000 SPU Serrapeptase - Acid-Resistant Proteolytic Systemic Enzyme, Non-GMO, Gluten Free, Vegan, 90 Veg Capsules

I only have taken it once since I just received it. I was overly concerned that it would cause nausea vomiting or sicknesses since you have to take on an empty stomach and I have an ulcer. So I took it at around 1am in the morning after I was sure food was digested. Being overweight I was EXCRUCIATING joint pain that narcotics will not alleviate. I have shooting pains in both gluteals from working out back in March! And it never went away and I have weight related back and knee pain. Arthritis in both hips, so after waking up I WAS NOT limping bc in the early morning after waking I’m always limping from foot and leg pain. Also I noticed a STRONG headache after taking this, it honestly didn’t bother me hopefully the pill is breaking down some type of glue in my brain. I’ll continue with an update!! It is a gel capsule not a hard coated pill. Update 7/14– I'm amazed and a bit shocked by the results of this pill. The breakdowns of dead tissue, fibrin, and calcium deposits have resolved my gluteal pain. I can now stand at work for up to two hours without any pain or need for medication or Voltaren gel. Occasionally, I get a headache after taking this, but my memory has improved and my mood is amazing. I've also lost 3 lbs because I'm moving around a lot more than before. Clearly, I had a significant buildup of deposits in my body, as I used to limp and have unsteady balance and gait for many years. At 44 years old, I'm happy I finally found this treatment, but I'm frustrated I didn't discover it 9+ years ago.

Vegetarian option - good value - work as expected - greatly helping with digestive issues

I have be taking this brand for close to 5 years. This is the only one I will buy. I tried others that didn't work as good. This brand is enteric coated which is so gentle on the stomach. If you are new to serrapeptase start out by eating a spoon of peanut butter to start so it helps your stomach but it's not a lot if food to diminish the serrapeptase itself. I have only had one issue with this brand and the company went above resolving the issue. This a great product from a great company.

If you have any trouble swallowing, at all, don't buy this. Apparently the capsule got stuck somewhere in my throat and started dissolving. I had drunk a full bottle of water when I took it but it still ended in me vomiting violently, multiple times. I was sick for the whole day. It might work fine for someone who doesn't have trouble swallowing.

I was able to stop taking Aleve for arthritis after taking serrapeptase + nattokinase for a week. It doesn't work as fast or quite as well, but well enough to get off meds to give my organs a much needed break. It also has improved my circulation: My legs don't ache at night and thus I sleep all the way through when I take this at bedtime. It's critical that this enzyme be taken with water on an empty stomach 2 hours after eating and to not eat for an hour after.

I have been taking Serrapeptase for a long time. It has helped me in so many ways, with arthritis of the lower back, arthritis in my hands, I can breathe better as I have lungs issues and frequent sinus issues. It's made an amazing amount of difference to me but I always suffered from side effects such as muscle aches. With this brand is my first jar so far and I'm only taking 40,000 IU but I've had no side effects whatsoever. I don't know what would happen if I needed to go up to 80,000 or 150,000IU but so far so good, no side effects. I'm happy customer.

Brand quality and price is great. Good for joint health.
