My wife was saying she wished she could hear the machine machine buzz when the wash was done. I put this in line with the power to the washer and set it up in the app so that any time the power flow drops to zero for 5 seconds Alexa announces that the washer is done. The app has a bit of a learning curve, I set it up to notify Alexa and Alexa recognizes it as a button push, but it's a better app than most. I can't say for sure but I also get the impression that Shelly will improve it's products, including the app, unlike a lot of other iot companies. I really like the device though so maybe it's just wishful thinking. One of these days I'm going to set it up to turn all the lights on and off and play music. My wife will love that! ... actually no, no she won't. Muwahahahaha!

Great for DIY automation of lights or sockets. Integrates seamlessly with Home Assistant. The build quality is good and there are plenty of YouTube tutorials explaining the wiring. Provides Power Monitoring. Only supports WiFi and Bluetooth though.

We purchased this as a component to build a wifi smart switch for a 240 volt water heater, in combination with a contactor and enclosure. The switch is easy to control/schedule, although a simple interface the switch has plenty of options for most peoples needs...but if that isn't enough then you can always control it with Home Assistant, Smart Things, etc. We've been using the switch for well over a month and it has not yet once failed to start/stop the water heater at the scheduled times. This is better than any built in wifi, if the tank fails I can reuse the switch for the next one.

This is an excellent device overall, great firmware and UI, easy integration with Home Assistant, able to accept sensor accessories, etc. It's extremely small and that seems to come at the cost of not having terminals large enough to accept 12AWG conductors, so it ends up needing pigtails and wire nuts which results in higher volume than if it had bigger terminals. I've been able to squeeze in 14AWG stranded, but the specified maximum for this is 16AWG which is not okay under the NEC for common 15A branch circuits. That said, I like these for building "smart" extension cords for Christmas lighting with current monitoring and programmable shutoff thresholds.

Works great for my perimeter lighting

Works perfectly for my 220V in-wall heater. The setup was simple, and it integrates seamlessly with Home Assistant. Power monitoring is accurate, and it's great for creating automations based on usage. Solid build, reliable performance, and very responsive. Definitely a must-have if you're looking to monitor and control high-voltage devices.

What can I tell you? They work as advertised. Latency is lower than other smart switches i've used.

Using this to control a space heater in junction with a temperature sensor with home assistant

Mij gardenlights now work with the app and with the existing switch. I’ve set the switch to al pulse switch in the app. Remote switches for in the cars are ordered, to be able to turn on the lights when coming home.

Il Shelly Plus 1PM corrisponde perfettamente alla descrizione e funziona in modo eccellente. L'ho installato in cassetta, dietro la presa, e l'installazione è risultata semplice. Non ho esperienza diretta con prodotti simili di altre marche, ma posso confermare che la programmazione è molto facile e permette di adattarlo a diverse esigenze. Rete e configurazione: Il dispositivo offre due modalità d'uso. Per chi preferisce la semplicità basta usare l'app ufficiale Shelly per smartphone: l'interfaccia guida passo passo la connessione al Wi‑Fi e la configurazione, quindi non sono necessarie particolari conoscenze di networking. Per utenti più esperti (il mio caso) è possibile avviare il server web integrato e configurarlo direttamente via browser o API, rendendolo molto flessibile e “future‑proof”. Uso pratico: Lo utilizzo per gestire la ricarica del mio aspirapolvere Dyson: il relè misura il consumo reale e, quando la corrente scende sotto una soglia impostata (fine carica), interrompe automaticamente l'alimentazione. Ho poi aggiunto uno switch a parete per riattivare la ricarica manualmente quando voglio. In questo modo la base del Dyson non avvia la ricarica automaticamente al riposizionamento, ma solo quando do io il comando. Soluzione semplice ed efficace — veramente top. Pro: Funziona come descritto Facile da programmare Misuratore di potenza affidabile Modalità semplice via app o avanzata via server/API Ideale per automazioni pratiche come il controllo della ricarica Contro: Nessuno significativo riscontrato finora (l'uso avanzato richiede conoscenze base di networking) Consiglio l'acquisto a chi cerca un relè smart compatto e personalizzabile.

Ces produits Shelly sont décidément d'excellente qualité et disposent de beaucoup de possibilités de programmation. J'ai utilisé le mien après l'avoir placé dans le tableau électrique général (avec un programme réaliser sur demande par une intelligence artificielle) pour allumer ou éteindre la filtration de ma piscine en fonction de la production de mes panneaux solaires, et ça fonctionne très bien ! Un seul capteur sur le câble d'arrivée du courant depuis le linky permet de détecter si les panneaux produisent plus que la consommation et d'allumer la piscine à partir d'un certain seuil. Mais on peut imaginer une foultitude d'autres applications à déclenchement paramétrable en fonction de l'heure, ou de lever et coucher du soleil, ou en fonction d'autres événements détectés sur le réseau. Un must !
