I struggled for a couple of weeks trying to find a nice solar lantern to put on an outside table. I wanted one that wouldn't look cheap, but I also didn't want to spend too much. I kept returning to these because of the look and good reviews, but I really didn't want to spend this much. To me they seem more expensive than what you normally expect for solar lanterns. I finally decided to give them a go and they are very nice.They look higher quality in person (which is always nice for something that you're going to have around that others will see) and they seem to work well & look good, like a real candle lantern, when on. So other than being a little more expensive than I would like they seem to be good units & likely worth it.

Very nice. Flickering light comes on at dusk. Effect is tranquil and relaxing. Adds to outdoor ambience.

Seems to be well built and functions as supposed to. Attractive in any yard, patio or other outdoor setting. If exposed to a full day of sun the lights will be working for 8 hours or more from dark. Maintains bright appearance and seems to do well in weather like rain while lighted. Key is direct exposure to sun all day and not placed anywhere that gets lights at night near or around the lanterns.

This lantern looks so good in many different areas of my outdoor space. I have used them on my screen porch and next to my front door. I can't wait to put them with my fall decorations. They work great and the construction material is very nice looking. One small draw back to be aware of, they do not produce a lot of light. They are good for highlighting an area, not illuminating. They would be similar to battery operated candles in your home. That being said, I love them and plan to buy more to use on my deck.

After being out in the weather for a while, one of them stopped working. They were really nice when they were new, but as in most solar products they do not hold up for too long.

Love these solar lanterns. We placed them on poles in our front yard. They are really pretty and holding up well.

Lamps visually look good but very little lighting. Charged in sun and worked great the first time. Very faint now. Not much light. Bummer. Should have lasted more than two weeks.

I love the look of these lanterns and were exactly what I was looking for to add a bit of ambiance and soft light to my patio area. The disappointing facts are that one quit working a couple weeks after purchase. The other, at this writing is working but the light is very, very dim. The light / flame of the candle on both were much dimmer than anticipated, so buyer needs to be aware of this. Very disappointed based on cost, they should have not stopped working. They are both placed in an area of direct sunlight all day long.
