These "were" perfect, emphasis on the past tense. We utilized these in the sleeping crate of our newly adopted shelter puppy.The bowls worked out absolutely fine, easy to attach, easy to use, looked good and seemingly of nice quality. They provided the adjustable height to keep the puppy from stepping in the bowls.So, why the emphasis on past tense? When we got her, we jokingly referred to our new little puppy as the "Rat". Well that rat appears to be on her way to growing into the size of a small Shetland pony.The smaller size of the bowls provided excellent usefulness, but a short career for the ever expanding girth of the former "Rat".Now on to the next size of food and water bowls, I'm thinking a 55 gallon drum cut in half. (All tongue in cheek, a great growing puppy experience).

I volunteer at an animal shelter. Kittens are always dumping out their water. These bowls are easy to take off/put on. I attached them to the door of the crate and they will always have water now.

It is sturdy and stays in place. Got it for a pet who always knocked over the food and water bowls.

The only reason I gave it a four not five is that the food bowl holder would not attach to my cage as I needed it to nor was I able to tighten it as much as I needed it to so basically I just use the aluminum bowls and that’s it

These worked perfectly. My cat was always kicking litter into her bowls in her cage when they were on the ground and it was annoying to constantly change it out. With these bowls, I’m happy I’m able to adjust the height and haven’t had any issues since. Highly recommend

I got this bowl to go on my Critter Nation cage and it does not fit horizontal bars 😩 Ughh! I was so happy to find a bowl with a removable stainless insert.

My son's rabbit, Joe Bunny, is a total jerk with these. I thought the removable metal bowls would make filling and cleaning a breeze. Joe Bunny thought they'd make great flying saucers. So, the metal bowls are now clutter but so far Joe Bunny hasn't chewed through the plastic to remove these from the side of his house.
