Why does my sticker have tiny perforated holes in it?

This is to ensure your visibility is not obscured while reversing your car. You can see out through the sticker from inside the car but from the outside of the car the holes are not noticeable once you apply the sign to the car window.

Why does the sticker initially look faint when I take it out of the packaging?

When you apply the sticker to the car window the darker interior of the car will cause the sign to appear a far brighter yellow and the text will become a predominant black ensuring the sign can be seen from a distance.
