I had upgraded the joycons and Switch housing on my Nintendo Switch, but didn't write a review. Why? Installation was tedious and I ran out of patience after completion. I pulled a youtube video up and walked along with it to deconstruct, and swap out the parts. I have the tools and the dexterity but you are working with small parts.OF NOTE: Depending on the model of controller (There are 3 variations in the PS5 controller) Your touchpad bracket may or may not have two screws anchoring it. Mine had one screw only and I didn't need to worry about the controller speaker.That being said, I am SO happy with the Shell, I may replace the buttons at some point. ALSO NOTE: when I did put the shell on and secured everything, my buttons felt "Dry" or "Gritty" and would squeak (D-Pad mostly) The solution is a little bit of mechanical keyboard switch lube on a small paintbrush, between the housing and actual buttons. Nothing the manufacturer could have done, but this was my experience.I gave it a three star for ease of installation because there were no instructions, and it takes time and patience, but again, it looks phenominal.

This front case is a great upgrade and feels nice while playing. i was concerned about resistance to scratches but so far its taken the little beatings ive put it through and still looks great. it was a bit of a process to swap everything over so be prepared and set aside plenty of time. low heat and a little and patience will make removing the touchpad pcb a breeze. i used my heat gun on low and it was a little too much heat and i slightly warped the old piece while pulling the board off but nothing major, i was able to straighten it back out

I got this to surprise my boyfriend and he loved it. It looks really nice. However i dont think it fits the controller as perfectly as i would want it to (or maybe i just messed up guess well never know). The installation video was super helpful and easy to follow, however one of the tools feels like it was carved out of a cereal box as it bent immediately and made the process a little harder than it shouldve been. Still the product itself looks really cool. 8.5/10

Extremerate has incredible parts to upgrade PS5 controllers and consoles, not to mention Xbox, pc etc…. Platforms as well. Perfect fit, incredible colors, many combinations that make your controllers pop with color and character. The Ironman setup is by far the most incredible combination out there.

Please note, Controller on the left is completely custom and has several prouducts from Xtreme rate on it.This solely for the black front face plate. It is black as you think is and even compares if not similar to the stock black ps5 controller. Plastic is finished in satin finish. After some time touching it or use oil from your hands will leave marks and finger prints. Not a beginner friendly install.

Not enough feminine colours shown off in the comments. Not sure if that's because the girlies don't do mods often or if they just don't share photos but ladies! Sick of ugly colours? Don't like the weird neon colour ways? Mad that the princess peach and pastel joycons have a neon undertone? These are for you.Fear not, these are easy to install with a cup of tea and a YouTube video while you listen to an audiobook. It took me about an hour with interruptions and it was well worth it. I have no real experience in taking apart electronics and I did this with absolutely no issue and it works perfectly so if I can do it, you can do it and finally have the cute pastel controllers of your cozy gaming dreams.

Watched the installation video on YouTube and half of the screws don’t even go in the same spot. Cant even install the touchpad because it’s not made for it!!! The screwdriver strips the screws too much because it’s small

This is another piece that your gonna want to look up the step by step guide cuz there's alot that goes on in the Dual sense. Also, not sure if it was in the description but you need a heat gun to swap the touch pad out.
