Initially I thought this multi tester was unreliable. Turns out I was the weak link. After reading other reviews and watching the product videos, I realized I wasn’t putting adequate pressure on the stone. After being mindful of the stone cleanliness, probe angle, and pressure, I’m identifying stones with precision. This is a prograde device which does require practice and patience. I’m extremely happy with the purchase.

Very accurate tester. All my moissanite jewelry came up as moissanite. All my diamond jewelry came up as diamond. Does the job. 5/5

Good product, just make sure you center the tip from the diamonds and hold the reader 90 degrees for accurate reading

The instructions are complex, and it takes forever to get the hang of it. Plus, the device itself is bulky and awkward to handle.But the real letdown is its accuracy—or lack thereof. It frequently gives false readings, leaving me questioning the authenticity of my gemstones. It's a nerve-wracking experience, to say the least.Considering the hefty price tag, I expected much better performance. Unfortunately, the Presidium Multi Tester III doesn't live up to the hype. Don't waste your money on this unreliable gem-testing tool. 💔💎❌

Husband wanted me to buy this to keep kin my purse for the "haters" he got me a big diamond ring lol . Works very well everytime def worth the price, not some crappy one u can get.

I was using maybe every month or two, half a dozen times at most, until the tip got stuck in the depressed position. The company took months to respond to support requests. They finally told me it was out of warranty and I could ship it overseas for repair at my expense. I told them it would be more cost effective and expedient for me to buy a new one and fix it myself. They told me "We do not allow third party repairs." That was the final straw. If you're not going to fix it without charging the customer and making him wait a month, then don't say you "don't allow third party repairs." This party is not having a party right now. FOLLOW UP: I cut the seal, opened it up, put it back together, and now it works. Blah.
