Sweet camera!!!
I love this camera, out of all the cameras I have ever bought and tried, this is the best yet!! I dont have one bad thing to say about this camera. It really does have night vision unlike other cameras that say they have it and really dont, dont worry with this one because it truly does. It plays as long as your driving, it has parking monitoring so if someone hits your vehicle while in the store etc and you find a dent, you can always look at the video right there on the camera and find out exactly who hit your vehicle while you were away. Its easy to use, settings are easy to use and the manual is really great to understand on how to work this camera. I will be buying another one for my husband's vehicle. Very impressed with this camera and it hasn't stopped working, YET!!! It's not made of cheap plastic, was shipped very fast, I got it two days after ordering it and the packaging it was shipped in was very protective in keeping the camera safe while in shipping. It came with an Sd card and a flash drive, car charger, cord for your PC and a suction cup. BUY THIS CAMERA, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!.............................Im writing in addition to my original review..................I would also like to say if you ever have to pull the video up on the screen of this camera it is very easy to do so, all you have to do is push in the "OK" button once, then right under the "OK" button is another button, push that three times and the video will pop up, once the video pops up, push the "OK" button to play the video right on the screen. To return the screen back to normal use after playing video just push the "OK" button.......The only problem I have with this company is I went to buy this camera and the price said $49.99, I waited one day to buy it and the price went up to $59.99 over night, now I'm back to buy one for my husband and the price now went up to $69.99, that's a shame because I wont be buying another on after all. Time to find it elsewhere.

Not such a good deal so far
I had my first chance today to use the dash cam. Both in daylight and at night. Daylight mode in better but even at night it's good enough to pass all my criteria. Easy to use, easy to connect to the computer and easy to choose what video you want to watch. Invest in a large capacity mini SD card.Update; The video quality is very good but the mounting systems are both poorly designed. 1. The lever that locks the cup to the windshield is hard to lock due to the angle the mounting shaft. 2. Where the camera slides on and off the mirror mount is flimsy. I expert that that is where the product will fail.Update: Thursday 12/15/2016 after removing the camera only twice it broke right where I anticipated. It doesn't always change to night vision. For the money that's a very short life.Update: Conbrov company has replaced the camera. I have it mounted. soon I will post a new review based on the replacement.

Night vision REALLY WORKS!
The media could not be loaded. I was originally planning to buy what I consider the gold-standard for mid-priced dash cams: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HPEF7PQ That camera is actually VERY GOOD, and you can't go wrong with it. But, on browsing through the options on Amazon, I saw this camera, which was advertising "Night Vision" and decided to give it a shot. Because it's fulfilled by Amazon Prime, a return would be easy if I didn't like it. : )The Night Vision actually works! I literally can walk into a pitch-black room with no light source at all, and the entire scene will show up clear as day on this camera. This blows my mind.I've installed a LOT of cameras for different scenarios - home security cameras, interior cameras, surveillance cameras for businesses, etc... They all claim to have Night Vision, but in reality, they just have sensors that are responsive to infrared light, and for them to function, there needs to be an infrared light source, which are typically IR LEDs that are powered by the device itself. If you've ever used an IP Camera (like Foscams) or installed a security camera system on your home - you'll notice the ring of LEDs around the lens. That's the IR source.Well, this camera has NO LED light source! Instead, I'm guessing it has a very sensitive CCD (or CCD mode) which it changes to when the camera can't detect any regular light. The result is crazy-good. I've attached some pictures of what I'm talking about. I took a picture of the camera pointed at a dark area of my yard, with no lights. Even with my own eyes I can't really see anything in that area. Then after waiting for a few seconds, the camera switches to Night Vision mode and then it's DETAILS GALORE! Very impressive that I can actually see the scene much better through the camera than with my own eyes. Very cool.==> Detailed breakdown:1. Engineering: This camera is put together decently well with decent materials. The buttons on the side control the menus and options of the screen (which is not touch-sensitive). Every side has controls, ports, or a microphone. The buttons are alright - they function decently well and are your typical hard ABS plastic. The body is a matte-finish plastic and the lens barrel is either chrome or plastic-coated chrome - I wasn't really able to tell. Overall, the build quality is good for this price range of camera.2. Lens: This all-glass lens is magnificent. Where they saved money on the body, it looks like they put it into the lens. I am a huge fan of putting as much glass and size as possible in a lens. More glass = lower f-stop = better night-time performance and better optical quality.3. Width of view: 170-degree viewing angle. For reference 180 degrees is a half circle, so this is crazy-wide. However, the downside here is that the straight-on view is smaller than if you were to have a narrower field of view. But, the video being recorded is 1080p, so you'll be able to zoom in (when viewing the video on your computer) to catch details like license plate numbers.4. Features: Literally all of the features you'd expect to see on a dashcam are present in this camera - Parking Mode (where the camera will stop recording and only record when movement is detected. Very useful if you don't want to see 8hours of video of the back of the car in front of you), Lane Departure Warning (where the camera will beep if you're about to collide with the car ahead of you), etc... Personally, the most important features for me are loop-recording and resolution on a dashcam, both of which are handled with this Conbrov.5. Documentation: The all-English manual is written surprisingly well, with little-to-no grammatical errors and with lots of screenshots. Easily one of the best dashcam manuals I've seen in a long time.Overall, this is a pretty decent camera, but it sets itself away from the crowd with actual Night Vision capability! The only con to this is that I live in the city, and everywhere I go pretty much has decent street-lighting. But for the times I'm venturing out of the city, I'll definitely appreciate the night vision. Definitely recommended!
