Bought this for my niece’s birthday, you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the creation of this product. As we opened the box up, and saw how everything was packaged and the quality of items, we knew straight away that this had to be from a company which cared about its product - this was confirmed with the thank you card letting us know , it’s a small family business. You can tell.My niece has already had tons of fun within the first day. She is obsessed with bugs.

Bought this for almost 4 year old nephew for Christmas. He loved it! The binoculars and torch were individually boxed inside the main box and the binoculars also came in a little pouch so he enjoyed unpacking everything. Be aware the binoculars have a long cord for wearing around the neck and it is just a cord rather than a strap with a quick release option so it may be worth removing or replacing with something safer if there is strangulation risk especially with younger children/siblings. The bug viewer was particularly popular as it has different viewing lenses including one that shows you the underneath of the creature. The plastic bugs were great, especially as it meant the kit could be played with immediately despite it being dark outside. Everything was well designed for little hands with some parental support putting things together. The bag was quite thin and may not last long but I also bought a chest style gift box and that has now become his bug science box to keep everything together. The tweezers with plastic sphere end were put into use when dad found a spider on the stairs and he reported it was easier than using a glass. As I was standing on the chair at the time as far away from the spider as possible I can only take his word for it! Big thumbs up from Mr almost 4 and from his parents (dad may be less enthusiastic when he is reminded first thing in the morning of his promise to go out bug hunting instead of a post Christmas lie-in). A Christmas win.

My 5 year old nephew loved this. I've bought quite a few different types in recent years & this is probably the best bug hunting kit. It's got loads of items, well made & like the bag as it keeps it altogether. We obviously release all the bugs unharmed after. It's great for education of little ones, my nephew's on crisitism is he can't go bug hunt in winter, but he loved playing with it the summer & Autumn.

My son loves bugs.We lost his last bug bottle and I couldn't find one the same.I chanced thus. Skeptical as it seems alot for the price.First impressions. Brilliant. Seems strong. Lots of interesting parts with it.A decent sized place that's kind to wing's and large enough several bugs will not overcrowd it.Same I a. Not giving a post 8 week review.So will it last? Hope so!Ok so it's been well over 6 weeks.Bleedy fantastic 👏 all sound 👌Very good toy, only issue was the butter fly net comes apart so needed a tiny bit if super glue to keep it together. Would of still worked without the glue.I never normally write reviews however this is a good toy that my bug crazy 5 year old loves!

My nephew was straight out side looking for bugs all suited and booted. Kept him occupied for ages

A bug lover, the child was in awe of all the bugs captured (before being let loose) and examined with this good little kit.Walks through woods and a trip to a butterfly zoo brought heaps of joy, as well as the occasional learning spell as curiosity piqued siblings into sharing their discoveries.Looking forward to hearing more of their adventures next summer.A robust toy offering ample opportunity for learning and good, all round fun.

This set was a gift for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. Normally things don't keep her interest for long but she loves her bug safari kit. She couldn't wait to get outdoors to start looking for butterflies and bugs. We went to the park and found a lady bug. After she observed it she decided to let it go so it could be with her mommy and daddy. So cute. We went on a nature hike and this kept her interest all day long. Those binoculars stayed around her little neck & she kept her net handy just in case. She made me promise to take her to the park the next time she visits us. My son told me a few days later that she takes her kit with her in her bug backpack everywhere she goes. I'm amazed.This is definately giftable. The binoculars are thick and durable looking but I'm a little concerned some of the other tools could have been made thicker. As much as my granddaughter loves this I would like to see it last a long time.

This Discovery kit is great quality for a good price. My daughter was able to immediately use the items in her exploration of insect life outside of our home with ease. The items are small yet and easy to store in a small travel bag which makes it easy to take anywhere.

Quality wise it's still not super sturdy, but better than some other kits we've tried to buy. The hat is super cute. The magnifiers are huge hit, especially the container you can put the bugs into.Great gift for bug loving toddlers.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas! She haf a bug kit before but it was more of a starter kit and was breaking. I was hoping that this was going to last longer. Looking like a better kit then i had before. I really like the carry bag it come with. Also i liked this kit because of the butterfly net and the bug house. The net isnt to big to whete she cant handle it. But im afarid ahe will outgrow it quickly. She is 5 yrs old and loves looking for bugs. I hope the kit will last for at least a year. The plastic seems durable but sometimes you never know. It seems like an ok thickness but can be a little thinner then i hoped. It comes with fake bugs so she can play with the kit indoors til we can search for bugs outdoors. The binoculars are real.... There adjust and bend like adult ones and also comes with a carry case you can attach to your belt. The flashlight is also great! It doesnt take batteries seems to last a while. It does have an on/off switch and you can lock the pump switch closed. Looks like it will be a great product cant wait to use it outdoors!
