I purchased the Samsung Sound Bar Remote Replacement AH59-02767A to replace a lost remote for my soundbar, and it worked perfectly right out of the box. There was no complicated setup or programming needed. I simply put the batteries in, pointed it at my soundbar, and it worked immediately. All the buttons respond well and control the volume, power, and sound settings just like the original remote did. The remote itself feels lightweight but sturdy, and the buttons are clearly labeled and easy to press. It’s a great, affordable solution if you’ve lost or broken your original soundbar remote. Overall, this replacement remote does exactly what it’s supposed to do and saved me from having to buy a whole new sound system. I’m very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it.

I work at an establishment that requires me to turn off potentially hundreds of TVs nightly (depending on how busy we are that day). These TVs aren't the same brand and with some, the customers 'accidentally' take the remotes home with them (there was one a customer who returned a box of over 30 remotes that he had taken home). Off of the top of my head, I know we use Samsung, LG, TCL, Toshiba, VIZIO, Insignia (both with and without Fire TV), and Coby. This one remote can handle everything but (non-Fire) Insignia and Coby, just by holding down 2 buttons at a time. It's that fast and easy to change between them. If you, too, work at a place with an annoying assortment of TVs that you need to deal with, this is the remote for you.

This has GOT to be the world's easiest remote. I put batteries in, pointed it at the telly, and SHAZAM! That's it. No code searching. All I had to do was a scan for local channels. That's it. This company should expand and make some other things that work this easily.

i just wanted to have a spare remote in case i misplaced the sony remote... I am so happy i did, this remote has way more functionality; even access to menus (like help) that i could never get to with the original remote. Additionally, this remote has actual ffw and rewind buttons (versus just 10-30 seconds per push), and boy does this matter on some platforms if you need to fast forward more than a minute or two.

I bought it for the voice control and would give it a 5 star because of the voice control…but there is one feature that is frustrating. There is a ‘cursor’ that pops up every so often , I have no idea why or what it is for, and is VERY difficult to control as a selection pointer. It disappears after a bit so I’m happy for that. I’m not exactly sure what it’s for and the instructions are not helpful.

All I did was put batteries in it, and it worked instantly. No secret button combos to sync the new remote to my TV. Very convenient.

I'd been searching for a new Blu-ray player since my old one died an untimely death. Perusing a surplus shop the other day and came across a great little Samsung BD-J5700 unit, and because it's remote was missing, I picked it up for a song. It's always a bit of a gamble when buying replacement remotes, sometimes they work, or only some of the functions work, or they don't work at all. I'm happy to report that the Gvirtue AK59 is an excellent replacement unit for my "new to me" player. The remote also includes buttons to control a Samsung brand smart TV. Though I have not had a chance to test out the TV buttons as I don't own a Samsung TV. Otherwise all Blu-Ray functions work perfectly. Your mileage may vary depending on your model of Samsung device, though I would assume if your unit isn't too old, it should work. For the price it's a fairly low risk test. Construction seems solid, buttons have a good press feel to them, albeit button clearance is a little tight and if you've got big fingers it might be more difficult for you. Though most controllers these days have this problem. Runs on two AAA batteries. Back is curved instead of being flat, which makes it easier to hold. There is an indentation for your forefinger about 2/3 of the way up. Signal strength is decent, I tested from about 15 feet in a bright room, and an angle of up to about 45 degrees from centre. Reading through some of the other reviews that gave the unit 1 star. It seems that some people seem to think this is a universal remote, that can be programmed. It is not a programmable remote. It's a simple 1 to 1 replacement. You simply insert batteries and it works. No manual required, no setup required. Also, the ad lists the exact models of Samsung player that work with it so if your device is not on the list, it may not work. Can't fault it for that. I will of course update this review if I have any issues after months of use.

Buttons are clicky but I like that better than the mushy buttons from the original. Overall the remote control works great and is a good replacement. I would have no problem recommending this to replace your original remote that no longer works.
