A bit tricky to install, but...
Once it was finally in it worked great, and I've had no problems with it in the first three months or so. The trickiest part of the install on my 2008 4Runner was getting the old auxiliary jack out. It releases from inside the console (on the side of the armrest/storage that faces the front of the car, not inside the armrest), but there's not a lot of room to work inside. I used an angled, L-shaped screwdriver to press the release tabs. Once it released though, the rest of the install was quick and simple. I suggest doing the install when you have time to go slowly and work patiently so you don't break anything. It's not that difficult, but it requires patience. The YouTube videos I found were helpful in getting the center console up to get access to the auxiliary jack, but they weren't much help otherwise. I had to figure out the rest.

For my 2009 Lexus IS250
Bought this to specifically replace armrest aux port in a 2009 IS250. Broke a cable pin in mine original one and couldn't for the life of me remove it.Part looks legit next to my OEM piece. Plug and play with the original. Just gently wiggle the original out of the armrest base. Careful when detaching the broken aux unit from the molex cable, as there's very little extra cable length after pulling the broken aux unit out and it would be a bitch to have to fish it out of the installation hole if it drops down into it. I personally cut off the rubber dust cover, as I find it to be more annoying than functional. Can't say that I notice a difference in sound for better or worse, so I'll leave that part of the rating blank.

Works on my 2008 Toyota Prius!!
Worked perfectly on my 2008 Toyota Prius. There’s a YouTube video on how to take it apart. Very easy to install.
