Love this design, works very well and sharpens without breakage. Nice to all four lead length options in one concise place. Very quiet and easy to use.

This sharpener impressed me. It really makes those long sharpened pencil that you see the professional artist use. You don't need to possibly hurt yourself by scraping them with a blade to get the long sharp point. This sharpener has four different sized holes to take your pencil from average to professional in seconds. Its easy to use and a great value for the price.

Does the job if the pencil wood is of good quality. If not, the lead will break. My biggest complaint is that the lid comes off to easily while sharpening.

I have bought many sharpeners. This is my favorite. It has different size holes, extra blade, and a piece of sand paper to fine sharpen. Never had it open up and spill shavings. It is a long point so keep that in mind while using.

Extremely satisfied with this pencil sharpener. I draw with charcoal pencils, so I need a long and strong point. My Derwent charcoal pencils fit perfectly. I bought other sharpener brands before including Derwent and Staedler. But none were as good as these. They are also very inexpensive compared to those other brands. Regarding breaking points, many times the problem is not the sharpener but the quality of the pencil. If the charcoal or graffiti is not centered, it will keep braking. The longest point is obtained when I start sharpening with the widest opening and then move to the second widest to eliminate small pieces of wood. The third opening round the point and the fourth make it a fine point.

If you can get over the weird tip after the pencil is sharpened, I feel like this could be 5 stars. This pencil sharpener is for a "long tip," but the shape of the sharpened tip is rather odd. It does the job, but I can't say that I will use this very much because I just don't like how it looks. If you don't care about that, then you are good to go. It comes with two sharpeners, so that is a plus-a value for the price.
