24" .50 Caliber Big BORE Tactical Blowgun with 10 Spear Darts, 8 Spike Darts, Sling, Tactical Mount, Pistol Grip and Peep Site

I’m totally happy with the product, it’s just what I expected so my only disappointment lies within the actual .50 design. It’s a flawed design imo because it uses the same size dart as a .40 yet the drag caused by the larger diameter cap creates so much drag it cannot be as effective. The .625 is slow and drops like a rock also but the size if the darts are such that it’s super effective when hunting larger game. Imo the 50 is pointless because the .40 flies much much faster, less drop, more accurate and has the same damage potential from using the same size dart. I’m not convinced the 50 isn’t capable of having a purpose as I’m currently in the process of making my own darts that are more aero coefficient with larger gauge darts . If I can manage to bridge the speed and trajectory gap between .40 and .625 then I will be pleased . Otherwise I feel that the .50 is a flawed solution for a gap that exists between 40 and 625 blowgun effectiveness.

This thing has no power to it at all. I wasn’t expecting much at 24” but it should at least be able to drive the bolt to be lethal from about 10 yards out, which it does not.The “sight” that it comes with has no accuracy at all - all of my shots were high and right of what I was assuming at. I was able to improve my grouping by taking it off completely.The strap that they give you isn’t long enough to be worth anything. I took it off.The hand grip wasn’t secured in place, it was just left very loosely fitted on. And the “tactical” handle is the biggest waste of time, space, plastic, and energy to manufacture.This is minor, but nothing was “aligned” out of the box - the rail wasn’t aligned to the sight, the quivers weren’t secured or lined up, and it just felt really, really cheap.What I like: the darts. I actually ordered a bunch of different .50 cal darts, and these are my second favorite brand.I will not be recommending Venom blowguns moving forward.
