This is a very good product for showering when you have on a cast or wrap. I is sealed so water does not get in but if feels tight around the leg so I would advise you put it on, get in quickly take your shower, get out and dry it off to remove it. I used it daily until my wraps were removed.

This kept my cast and wound dry when I was ook my shower. It saved me time from having to use plastic wrap and tape. I have used the cast cover a few times. It is definitely worth the money since I'll need it for at least a month. You have to be careful putting this in and taking it off. Other than that it's a good buy.

Got for my husband as he has an open wound on his leg. We tried one so called reusable cast cover from a local drug store. It leaked a lot. We had given up on finding something that worked. I took a chance on this one. He has used it successfully multiple times that I feel we have already gotten our money worth. The good thing it is still working. The boot part is made out of thick plastic with very durable seams. The blue ring part has a very stretchy material that easily goes around the leg stopping water from getting in. This product does what it says.

No more plastic wrap that doesn't work anyway! These cast covers are really handy. I had to wrap both my legs for weeks on end and couldn't remove them, so I bought this out of desperation. They look pretty unimpressive in the picture, and I thought they were way overpriced, but they're not.These cast covers are *heavy duty* vinyl, and the ring at the top is a good sturdy plastic. The whole setup keeps whatever's inside high and dry. They'll be around for a long, long time. Hopefully we won't need them again.All that said, I took one star off for the one-size-fits-all aspect. The ring at the top holds in place a hole in the vinyl not more than 2" in diameter. The arm or leg fits through the hole and the vinyl essentially seals around it. Very spiffy.Unfortunately, for larger people with chunky calves or thighs or whatever, this process turns the seal into a tournequet. A person has to put on the cover, shower as fast as they can, and then get out and get the cover off again before their appendage drops off from lack of blood flow. I considered cutting the hole to make it larger, but I didn't want to compromise the integrity of the material and potentially destroy it completely. Solution: covers of different size holes. The boot itself is plenty big. Get on that, yeah?

This was what I needed! I had foot surgery and this product really kept my bandages dry while I was in the shower. Great quality, I was glad I found this so I did not have to use trash bags to cover up my bandages!!

This works fine if you keep your foot out of the water but even with it out and covered by the shower curtain it still has a lot of moisture inside after finishing a shower. Would be best for laying in a bathtub with your foot resting out of the tub. This cover goes up to my knee and it is a good price but the plastic is much thinner then some of the other brands. Overall works well but I don’t feel comfortable using it under the shower directly.

This is a great product in theory. The problem is that when you can’t bend or put pressure on the foot or ankle, you can’t get it on! The top is tight (so water doesn’t get in) but not flexible enough to get it over a cast without hurting the patient. Great thought and a nice heavy duty product, but not really practical for us. We’ll stick with trash bags and tape!

An absolute necessity if you’ve got an injury. I spilled hot oil all over my feet causing second degree burns that couldn’t get wet. Showering and bathing were very hard having to keep my leg out of the tub. This allowed me to get back into some independence while I healed. Didn’t leak at all.
