Favorite item to keep cool
My preference would have been a softer cloth and slightly longer "bead" chamber but for the price these are great! I find that if it starts "feeling" dry I lightly squeeze the full chamber of water beads and it remoistens the cloth. Keeping the neck cool makes a dramatic difference and keeps me from being overheated.

It may not seem like it but there is enough water beads in these!
I was worried because there isn't much water beads in them at all. But to my surprise after soaking them for only about a half hour the water beads had absorbed the water and the scarf was completely plumped full and ready to be worn. It does dry pretty fast, but that's a easy enough fix, just soak it in some cold water again and it's ready to be worn and give you some relief.

Perfect cooling
One was defective and blew apart at the seam.

Not enough cool
Put in freezer. Not enough in cool packs to make a difference.

Well made and effective, last for days
I’ve used these types of scarves for years. I used to make my own. They work by cooling not only the skin but when worn around the neck help cool the blood flow and are effective at helping to maintain stable body temperatures. As an example, a few years ago at seven months pregnant I went camping in the desert in July. I wore long sleeves and pants to avoid sunburns. With a similar gel bead neck cooler on I was comfortable for the week long trip. Now as to this particular brand. My biggest complaints with other brands are the amount of gel beads not being adequate and the fabric being either too thin or poorly stitched together. These have a high amount of gel beads in them. I know the instructions and other reviewers are saying 10-15 minutes, and that’s fine- it’s useable after that long- but I typically soak mine for at least an hour or longer where possible to allow the beads to expand to their maximum capacity. These have enough beads in them that I wasn’t able to let them expand fully. This is good. This means they will cover my neck all the way around with lots of cool water. The more water they absorb, the longer they last. Usually several days. The fabric on these is adequate and should last a long time with good care. They are surged around the edges with an interlocking stitch. I don’t see the seams failing or gel leaking out anytime soon.Even if you have AC and don’t like outdoors events, they’re valuable to have on hand just in case and when dry they take up practically no space. At this price, the real question is what color palette will you choose?

Fun but kinda flimsy
These cost very little, but they need to supply something with better quality fabric. I used neck coolers like these during the hot summer in Europe and they didn’t weep they way the flimsy fabric does. Great concept, but purchase something higher quality.

They work
Be patient when soaking, longer the better, an hour works pretty good. Then refrigerate to chill for 30 minutes or so. Be sure to spread the beads out while soaking to get best results. I’ve only used them one day, so far good.

Great value for the money
Definitely was a game changer in a hot warehouse.. kept me cool but they needed to be a little rounder... Kind of tight when they were expanded with water

Don't stay cool long
The cool doesn't last long each time you use. I do freeze mine to make them last longer but find they are short lived each time I use them.
