the great advantage is speed of boot up for quick simple testingi have other more advanced tester but have to wait form then to boot this is alost instant

Very easy to use and gives a good view of connections, when making new cables.

I've used cheaper cable testers in past and they've been relatively good but became unreliable after a while.I decided to upgrade, I did some research and came across the Klien VDV526-200 cable tester. Compared to cheaper cable testers that I've used in the past this is miles better in the materials used, its ruggedness construction and also the functionality and information that it provides when testing cables.For my purpose, it exceeded my expectations and I would absolutely recommend it to other IT professionals & enthusiasts.

Works well, so easy to use. I just wish it had an Rj11 plug tester for the money. Not sure if i would ever need one, but it would be nice to have both Rj45 and Rj11.
