FolkmanisWorm in Apple Finger Puppet Finger Puppet

My 2-year-old grandson LOVES apples! He eats one everyday. I sent him a Dr Seuss book about apples & he was so excited! So I sent him this adorable apple & worm puppet plus another apple book.When he first saw this apple puppet he was so excited, but when his mom took it out of the wrapper & he saw the worm he was horrified! He screamed, "Nooooo!" & threw it away! He does NOT want a worm attacking his apple! Horrors!I couldn't find him anymore safe plush apple toys in regular online stores, but I found some crochet amigurumi ones on Etsy. Amigurumi is the Japanese art of making crochet toys. I asked the seller to embroider the eyes on the apple instead of using button eyes to make it safer for age 2.I still gave this apple puppet 5 stars because it's adorable & high quality. I love it! I told my grandson's mom to donate his apple & worm puppet to Salvation Army, since my grandson hates the cute worm. 🤣

I thought my hands were a fairly normal size, but apparently not. This is a tiny puppet and I could make the worm stick out, but not bring it back in. I'm disappointed because I had hoped to use it (obviously), but will be returning it. Preschoolers could use it, but I think many would also like to see it being used by adults. If you have small nimble fingers, this should work. I don't and it didn't.

This is my 2nd Folkmanis puppet and they are absolutely wonderful! Such a cute, unique, gift for my grandbabies. They love to play with them, but a true keepsake. Can’t wait to add to the collection.

I love this worm. It's been a fun gag. I have big hands, usually an XL men's glove and sausage fingers and I was able to use the worm just fine.
