Just give it a Try
They used to call this ingredient “sweet meats” and these innards were well received. That ingredient in this delicious soup is “tripe” and if you try it the chances are good that you will may come to love, if not like tripe. Ditto to hominy and spice lovers.

Looks great on the picture/taste is deceiving
Though I know what Menudeo tastes like, this is nowhere near it. Very very bland. I even went ahead and added some light spices and still, the body and the taste was not there. But I'm sure for those on a lighter sodium content. Again, knowing how Menudo really taste like and the flavor once you take the first spoonful, it just fell short of that.

Cheap on the meat
This pic is what is left after taking out all liquid and meat. Half a can of beans?! Are you serious?! There was barely any meat. Not worth the money you pay. Plus, I have to doctor it with spices to make it taste better.
