Bought in a panic when I was promoted hoping it would suddenly tell me how to manage a team. It didn’t, I had to work that out on my own but it’s a good book none the less and gave me the confidence to believe in myself

I’m new to management I recently became a Unit Manager and this book has helped me become more confident in myself while leading a team. The author references studies which I do like, provides statistics and an interesting perspective for new female leaders. I think it’s a great read I highlighted through the whole thing. I do recommend this read whether new Or old to management!

Great for a manager starting out! Good advice.

Superficially and without usable examples. First book in a long time that I have thrown out and wil not keep for my library.
