Color Fan - Summer

I haven't been professionally color analyzed. It's not something I have access to at the moment, so doing the best with what I could, which was watching tons of YouTube videos on the subject and reading a few blogs, I typed myself a true summer, and I'm almost 100% sure that I'm correct, but as I stated, this is only through my own research, at home "draping" if you will, by a window in mild daylight, and already knowing how sickly I look in certain warm colors like mustard, etc. I also plan to read "Color Me a Season" to get deeper knowledge. When I started trying and buying things in my colors, I couldn't believe I'd never worn those colors before. My face and body just look at home in them. Well, the point of this review is the fan, and I have to say, it is extremely useful. It takes some time getting to know it, and it's been a very fun process of getting better and better at recognizing "my colors". In fact, I realized that it would be even more helpful to me, personally, to get the other seasons' fans, because then, not only could I recognize my own colors, but I could more confidently realize when colors were in other seasons, which is a little more difficult when they are on the border of another season. I'm also having fun looking at my friends and others around me, and trying to have a guess at what color season they belong to, and even having at least a bit of a better idea of what colors might suit them when we go shopping together. In fact, I tried draping my friend, who had been told she was a Winter, with two versions of the same sequined dress when we were in Marshall's, one silver and one gold, and though the gold was ok, you could just see her come alive in the silver! It's true it was in artificial light, but even keeping that fact in mind, the difference was dramatic. Color analysis is fascinating, fun, and useful, and if you are like me and like analyzing the heck out of stuff, these fans will be soooo helpful! My experience with the seller was very good, and when there was a hiccup with one of the fans, they were very quick to respond, and I am completely satisfied with the service I got, since I know mistakes can happen to anyone (I worked in sales myself some time ago) and it is the response that matters most. I'm very grateful for the good treatment, and I wanted to make sure I wrote a review of the product, even though I'm sometimes a little too lazy to write reviews 😅.

By far. The best palette out there. And it comes with a carrying plastic holder. Gorgeous colors and very happy with this palette I am a soft summer but this is fabulous... also suggestions nails or lipstick. All. In all very happy so simple to use.

This fan is larger than the last one I purchased from a different brand. I find it a bit clunky to view the colors since it is bound card-stock. I prefer how the other company bound a plastic cover so the papers move freely within. Color Me a Season did include a plastic sheath for storage/protection. Despite size and maneuverability, it is a useful tool to find colors that suit your season. Practical for bringing with you to buy clothes or pick paints/fabrics for the home. I like that the fan has so many colors and shades. This helps take out the guess work and really allows the user to make good choices. The size is perfect and will fit easily in a purse. The fan comes with a plastic holder and a helpful guide regarding clothing, makeup, style, etc. I plan on going through my closet and clearing out items that don't fit or that are obviously not flattering. This is a helpful little tool. I'll keep it in my purse and use it before making new clothing purchases.

I have done color analysis since 1971 and this is the best comprehensive color fan I have ever purchased. Having a personal color palette done can be very enlightening and there are crossover colors, but this is an exceptional palette. If you are a Summer, this is for you. Michele'
