Kuryakyn4470 Motorcycle Footpegs: Zombie Skull Pegs with Male Mount Adapters, Chrome, 1 Pair

These added a special touch to my bike. Easy to use with a adjustment kit that I had to purchase separately.

These foot pegs went on a 2008 Sportster 1200 Custom. I already had some skull items on the bike, and I was finding the stock pegs a little lacking. These were a great alternative to the Willie G. pegs I was considering before an extremely rude parts person at a HD dealership completely turned me off to anything from HD as far as accessories. They look really good with the central spike, and are adjustable with the central nut. This is provided so you can adjust the distance between your toes and the shifter. Loosen the 14mm chrome nut under the spike, adjust by turning the peg, and tighten back up. What you will most likely encounter is breaking and/or deforming the lock ring holding the stock peg pin, and that lock ring is made of the cheapest material possible. Make sure to have either new e-clips or use a chrome bolt or allen bolt with a locking nut to hold these super nice pegs on. The chrome finish is deep and top notch! Finally, make sure to tighten all the nuts/screws on these pegs before you go riding. This is illustrated in the included instructions and is paramount to being safe!

Got these for a friends bike. They said that they weren’t compatible with his bike but they are. He likes the way they look and he wanted something that was sharp looking but thicker for when his daughter rides with him her feet won’t slide off like the smaller regular pegs.

The pegs look great and weren't too hard to install. A friend of mine told me that one day he was riding with the same pegs and one of them fell off so I figured that before the same thing happened to me, I will double check my bolts to make sure they were on there. I took a ratchet and as soon as I started to tighten it, the bolt broke right off and is now stuck in my adapter. I don't know how common this is but this is DANGEROUS. I saw another review online that mentioned the same thing. I never used excessive force to tighten the bolt but it broke. I'm not sure what happened.

Great look! Good quality!! A bit pricey, but worth it.

Be sure to use loctite on all fasteners - I didn't on the first go-around. Pegs look great though!

These fit perfectly using the required adapter. The pegs are really comfortable, and provide some room to move your feet about while avoiding the bulkiness of a footboard. Suits well with the Kuryakyn Transformer grips and other Zombie-themed items. One thing I should mention is the curb feelers under the footpeg wear away quickly if you drag them, which I presume is an intended feature. Replacements are available, if needed.

They are a bit on the big side. But, I like the bigger area. I can place my heels up or ride up on my toes.
