There's a whole load of moments that will make you laugh out loud, or make your heart feel a little schmoopy—but for all of that there's also a lot of real emotion and soul to it. The only thing that knocked this down a little for me was the switching narrative between the two girls, because I found it to be quite jarring, although I can see why the author did it. That aside, a really great read! Review: Kaz and Ruby struggle with boyfriend issues, but it only make their friendship stronger. - Kaz and Ruby are best friends who head off to remix music festival where their friendship is tested by shifting alliances, break-ups and boy troubles. Pratt perfectly captures the highs and lows of music festivals, the euphoria and dehydration, and the hopefulness of meeting a new guy or seeing your favorite band live. Both Kaz and Ruby struggle with boyfriend issues, but it only make their friendship stronger. By the end, I found myself wishing they’d go off and start a band together.
