This cream works well on my surgery scar. The scar is smoother, softer, and less noticeable. However, the cream also smells bad, like a deli sandwich loaded with onions. So the good news is, yes, it helps with scars. The bad news is you’ll smell like you rubbed a loaded hoagie on the scar instead of a cream. Five stars if it didn’t smell so bad.

Love the travel size tube. A little goes a long way. Been using this for about 2 months almost & I’ve noticed a difference with my scars lightening up.

I got this for my scars from my recent abdominal surgery. It was a robotic one so the scars were very small but I still wanted to lighten them. It definitely takes way more time then what was listed on the package. I bought it months ago and I’m still using it. It’s just now starting to work. I think part of the reason is because it was on my lower abdomen and my clothes rubbed some of it off. I tried my best to take time to rub it really well into my scars and I think that helped. I will definitely keep using it cause it works it just takes forever

onth but since I got noticeable results in less than a month it was time. I received the cream on May 30 2024. So we are only talking 2 weeks. I double checked when I started using it and I definitely started the night I got it. Look at my before and after. The last Pic on the right is today. So much better. The cream is not sticky or greasy. It dries and feels sofr after a couple mins. Make sure to wash your hands after. My eyes started to itch when I touched my face the first time. I won't be doing that again. I can't wait to see what my legs look like after a couple of months. I'm definitely going to keep going until the scars are all gone or at least less noticeable. I've been hiding my legs even though it's been hot out but I feel confident enough to wear shorts again. These marks are bug bites. I have a terrible habit of scratching until I scar myself. This has been the worst I've ever done to myself. I decided to give this a try and I'm so happy I did. I do want to add that the little tube will not do. I was done with that in less than a week. I then purchased a bigger one. The 1.7 oz is better. I'll also add that the directions say one time a night. I did not do that. I applied in the morning and at night. I'm convinced doing that sped up the healing. So if you have scars like this definitely get it and my suggestion is bigger size and twice a day.

I’ve been using this product every night for 2 months and it has made a huge difference in my scar. I didn’t start using it until 2 months into healing so it might be working slower than if I would’ve started using it right away.

This review was quite the task! I have been using Mederma scar treatment lotions and creams since July 2024. The photos speak for themselves but I’ll caption them anyway 🙂. I had two moles removed and needed a scar remedy. I saw results after a few months! The most recent photo was taken January 2025. I had to take that photo much closer because the scars are barely noticeable. So exciting!
