I'll be honest, I only used it for the stop watch function so far and it works fine. I don't really need the super accurate 1000th of a second measurement, but out of all the illuminated stopwatches on Amazon this one seemed the best bang for the buck ($29.99 August 24 2022) with other included functions besides the stopwatch. I need the illuminated screen as I sometimes use it in dark, and if I go to the drag strip at night, I can get the times when they don't display them on the board down the track. As my review title says, it is lit on the side by an orange LED not to be confused by actually lit from the back as with modern watches like Timex Indiglo or Casio Illuminator. The screen illumination is basically an ancient design from the 80s lit from the side, but now has a modern LED on the right side of the screen. Not really a big deal but it makes this screen look a bit outdated and actual photo of the back light is not accurate. If you are not using the stopwatch or other function, and you have the time and date shown, the display will shut off after a while and you need to push a button to show the time and date again. I have not tested it in the water as I don't want to take a chance of it breaking and don't want to waste time setting up a return with Amazon. I don't need the water resistance so will not push my luck by dunking it in the water. I've read a review that someone mentioned it being big. I disagree, I think it's fine maybe could be a little bigger. Overall a good product.

The stopwatch is an excellent device. It includes all functionality you may need as a trainer/coach. The display is clear and using the buttons is soft and smooth.

Use with splits. Sailing races swimming track long and short with splits accumulated time multiple competitors could have back light and better sound

Excellent stopwatch. Nice buttons, little backlight is very nice. Glad to pay a little extra for a good product thats not total garbage. My only suggestion is that the backlight should stay on a little longer than 4 seconds at a time. Increasing that to 10 or 15 seconds would be very nice.

Very complicated functioning, when all I wanted was a stop watch to clock my daily walks. Way too expensive for what I needed but the cheaper ones I tried were junk. I'll keep using it for now but will probably replace it with an Apple Watch.

Nice Chrono.. But doesn't reset a new lap time when clicked..? My Robic chrono would reset a new time every time I would click it and at the end I would have a total lap time indicated.. This doesn't do that (sadly). It's suprisingly well built.. !
