Vented 4-Post Shelf, Adjustable, Black, 550 mm Depth, 1U, 242 lbs, Cold Rolled Steel, CE Compliant

This device extends up to 42" which is the size of my rack. I was able to get it install pretty easliy. There is a bit of an angle that you would want when you put it into the rack. If you are installing it in a area that rack has a lot of items in it, it could get a bit harder to install. In my case the rack was empty and I could get it in and install it. It is very sturdy i have an Adva Terraflex device sitting on top of it. No issues with functionality and the apparence is fine and it is able to hold the weight of the device with issues. Bit more costly then the other "identical" shelf that i ordered.

I bought 2 of these shelves because they were considerably cheaper than other 4 post rack shelves. Well packed. No shipping damage, like I've experienced with other rack gear/ While they aren't rated to hold as much weight as the other shelf I was looking at, they are very sturdy and fit my needs. Assembly was straightforward and easy. The price is right. Has ventilation slots that can easily be used to secure gear using zip ties. They're oriented diagonally, so not the best-case scenario for zip tie mounting, but it'll get the job done. The shelf itself doesn't extend all the way to the back of my rack, but that's going to be the case with every adjustable 4 post rack shelf. I can't fault it for that. Very satisfied.

I purchased this to fit my small 12U network cabinet in my garage. It stores some network gear, but I didn’t have a way to easily migrate my home NAS into the cabinet (it isn’t a rack mount), so I was looking for sturdy options that can hold the weight of a large 12 bay NAS. After testing a separate rack holder that didn’t work well, this was a breath of fresh air. It’s rock solid, sturdy, and easily to build. Took about 20 minutes to get it into my cabinet and fully installed. Highly recommend.

These are STRONG shelves!! I'm new to 19inch server rack shelf installation. It took me about an hour to figure out how they work. The directions were mostly good. The included M6 Cage Nuts and screws are very helpful. After I figured out the first one, I was able to install the 2nd one in about 20-30 minutes. I learned that for my rack, the shelf has to be as far as the screws will permit. We had an event yesterday and one of the guests complimented me on how good the shelves look!! I do like the shelves. Thanks for a good product that I can trust to secure my tech lab machines!!

This adjustable sliding rack tray was perfect for my needs. Used it to mount two workstation tower servers. Depth size was adjustable and fit perfectly. Only negative which may not even be a negative, is that using the tray at its longest adjustment, you can only use one screw at each end. But it’s still sturdy enough where it currently holds the two workstation tower servers with no issues. Each server is maxed out with hard drives which adds to the weight of each tower. I estimate each tower server to weight around 25-30 lbs.

Thick gauge steel well built proper hardware....shelf also have ears that sit under the shelf to provide extra support. Navepoint is a company that stands behind their product. I mistakenly threw out the ears....they helped me and were able to source me a new pair of ears for a nominal cost. Great company that stands behind their products!

This a a great shelf and 12U (i already wrote a review but it was for the seller and not the part by mistake) If you look at those reviews you will see the manufacture's name of the 12U I bought here at Amazon. I don't have time to search for that name again. This shelf is very well built and can easily hand any piece of equipment that fits on it. Comes with the hardware needed to install it. also the 12U rack is also great!

Does what I need, simple to install. Unlike a previous reviewer, mine came with the expected set of 12 screws. Note that the shelf's length is fixed and while the mounting rails are somewhat adjustable, there's a limited range of rack depths that this will work for. If you want to put it in a rack deeper than 30 inches, you will want to get one of NavePoint's longer shelves instead of this 550mm model. My rack is 30 inches and I still had to install the shelf using only 2 screws not 3 at each corner. It's still plenty sturdy enough in this configuration, but I wouldn't want to go to the next step of only one screw per corner.
