UPDATE: The seller made right on my purchase. This is a standard sized tea kettle. It works well. I am happy with it.This is a beautiful copper kettle however it arrived dented. I feel a 100 dollar kettle should not be damaged. I contacted the seller and am waiting to hear back from them. Other than the dent the kettle is gorgeous.

Yes it is pretty, but lost on top of a standard-sized stovetop. Also seems to be copper plated, not solid.

It's functional and beautiful! The material is pure copper, not only the surface like many others - which I read has such an effect to lose weight if you keep boiling water in low heat for 20 min. or so after boiled and drink, according to Indian Ayurveda.
