DONT BUY - VERY BAD LID DESIGN - where the lid will OPENS up every now and then - and food becomes cold.
The product has a very bad lid design - it just has a single thread - and the lid opens every now and then - rendering the product useless. Basically your entire tiffin is open every now and then. Other users have also pointed this out.The lid design is faulty - it should have multiple threads - instead of just a single flimsy thread - which pops the lid out easily.

I cannot think of separating this piece from the home cooked meal. This is my second order as the first one broke due to manhandling by the office staff. the electric lunch box is a must have for office or college goer who wants to have a warm-hot meal like just cooked home food.purchased lasst year and works great......heats up the food in about 30 minutes or so...the thermo steal covering gives a good look and insulation as well.....better than the plastic covering with other brands...must purchase if looking for an electric tiffin....

If you know how to use it well, then it is very good for you. If you do not know how to use this then this product is not good for you.I liked it because I only need to heat the roti in it.

Best Alternative to Cheap Plastic Heating Tiffins
I didn't want to use plastic, so this is the best alternative. Doesn't keep the inner boxes tightly closed, so sometimes the food spills out, but hey its steel & not cancer-causing plastic.
