Good camp fuel but very expensive on per ounce basis. Unfortunately, when you only need a small quantity there aren't many options. The can/packaging of the fuel is good. Most retail stores (Academy, Walmart) sell white gas in gallons. I have to store the unused fuel and eventually dispose of it when it goes bad. Buying MSR fuel ends up costing the same. I have a 35 year old MSR Shaker stove. I have burned gasoline, diesel, kerosine and white gas in it. To get a cleaner, and more consistent stove lighting and operation I try to stay with cleaner fuels now.

This fuel is great quality and exactly what I needed. The can fits perfectly into my camping gear, allowing me to take this wherever I need to. I bought this because my girlfriend is a fire spinner, this fuel was very easy to use and a great value for the money!

I use this fuel for fire eating. It is extremely clean and doesn't leave an unpleasant aftertaste. I am very happy with it for fire eating and would recommend it for those purposes.

The only objections I read concerning SuperFuel is the cost. If you don't use your stove often, or store quantities of fuel for emergencies, consider this: I opened a can yesterday that was 10 years old and it ran my stove flawlessly! No reduction in performance - a quart of water boiled as fast as it ever does. MSR produces the finest stoves in the world that work reliably at altitude and help protect the health and safety of climbers who use them. The only variable is the fuel. Use it - don't use it, but if you need absolute reliability either at altitude or in a future emergency why quibble about cost?

This fuel works well in my Whisperlite Universal stove. This stove is only used during the winter time due to the inability for the canister stoves to work effectively or at all during the cold winter months. However the price is much higher than I would like to pay especially when compared to other fuels. Due to limited use (only during the winter months) and quality of the fuel I am still purchasing it. Overview: Pros: -Burns clean and hot -Works in cold conditions (below 0 degrees F) Cons: -Price Overall: I would recommend this fuel to be used for MSR stoves due to the clean burning nature of the fuel and the reliability I have had with it. I have not used many other options and can not speak to the other fuels.
