Hyskore 1006927 Competition Range Box

A very high quality pistol range box. I did mod the scope mount bar with a thumb screw bar clamp attached to the top of the box to provide extra stability for my larger spotting scope. The pistol gun rack holds the pistols with a velcro strap and provides excellent finish protection..I love the latches and the tray slides. Very easy assembly with a great handle on top.

This is a heavy-duty metal range box that requires a little assembly before use. The assembly itself was relatively easy, with adequate instructions. The spring loaded handle would not come to a full up position for carrying, so I unhooked the spring, which solved the problem. Also some of the small nuts and bolts did not match, but I had some the same size in my shop to use. Otherwise this would have meant a trip to the local hardware store for replacements.Once you get it loaded with guns, ammo, etc. it may be a hefty carry. The included scope stand can be a little wobbly, and my personal preference is to use my scope with a tripod stand directly on the shooting bench. The foam slots for the guns are of varying size--I would have preferred to have had them all one smaller size so that I could have custom trimmed them to fit my own guns. The side latches are lockable.All in all, I consider it a good value, and it should last a lifetime.

Very economical & worth the money

I find this box rather flimsy. Heavy a little clumsy. The draws Are engineers poorly as the drawers do not seem to want to stay in the truck.

This was a very cheaply made case. No matter how hard I tried, the case would NOT assemble correctly. I asked the seller to send me the correct screws and they sent me the same exact screws that came with it. I would NOT buy this case.

First thing I did was to make a secure scope mount the one on the box was useless. Then I took the pistol mount apart and reconfigured to hold 5 guns. The handle will hurt your hand it is to narrow and almost sharpon the bottom, you will want take the spring out of the handle. I went to the hardware store and got the D ring mounts for a strap, much better. waiting to see how long the hinge last very thin. I then added nylon pads for the drawer to slid on instead of the screw heads of the feet. The box was a good starting point, my old bullseye box was falling apart after many years. I think this will last a good long time, with maintenance.
