Excellent wallet case!!!
I have owned the CM4 wallet case on my iPhone 4s for over a year. It has worked perfectly, has worn very well (still looks great!) and has been a great case. When I upgraded to the iPhone 5 last week, I decided to try the Speck wallet case, mostly because it was $15 cheaper than the CM4 case, and because one complaint I did have about the CM4 case was that it held the credit cards in tight (good, right?) but almost TOO tight.I got my Speck wallet case 3 days ago. It looks great, not as fancy as the CM4 case which has a leather look, but actually I like the look and feel of this case BETTER than my CM4 case. It has a smooth, nice feel to it. I also disagree with other reviews on here that talk about how "hard" the buttons are to push through the case cover. Don't know what they are talking about, because I don't have any problems.Best of all, whether I stick 1 card or 3 cards into the wallet, the case holds the cards perfectly, without being too loose when carrying 1 card or too tight when carrying 3 cards. Not so with the CM4 case, which took some work just to "un-stick" the credit cards when I needed to access it - and that was just with 2 cards in it! But with this case I can get the cards in and out much easier than with the CM4 case - love it!I give this "5-stars" because the cost, protection, feel and wallet function is perfect, much better than the higher-priced CM4, which was my wallet case of choice until I got the Speck.

Simple product works well
Unlike the other wallet cases on the market, this one does not have flaps that cover your screen, pop out compartments, or moving parts. All of those items add bulk and weight and increase the odds something will break on it. This is a flexible sleeve that slips over the phone and can easily tuck three cards and maybe one bill. It also makes the phone just perfectly think enough to hold comfortably. The case does not obstruct charging and all of the buttons work fine.Three cards covers license, ATM, credit card and is perfect for daily use. I leave all my rewards cards and insurance cards in my old wallet in the car. Reward card apps and pictures of your insurance cards and I'm covered if I don't have that spare wallet nearby. Really eliminates half the stuff I used to carry around, and you can call your wallet if you lose it.I've had this wallet case for six months now without a problem. No loss in elasticity, cards don't fall out and are easily removed. I've dropped my phone from pocket height at least half a dozen and my kids have dropped it from eye level more than that and I have zero dings and cracks on my phone, basically it looks new. I would recommend investing in a clear adhesive screen protector for all around protection.

Great case for wallet and phone
Ever since the 3GS, I've been using Case-mate's ID case to carry my ID and one credit card with my phone. Unfortunately this time, they had no ETA on when they'd release the iPhone 5 version so I checked out the competition. If you've used Case-mate's case, it's slim, convenient, and the cards are removed near the top of the phone. However, compared to Speck's case, it doesn't protect nearly as well, if at all. While I personally don't drop my phones all that much, my wife did crack a front screen dropping her iPhone 4.With this case, it seems like a lot of the deficiencies of the CM case are fixed here. This case holds 3 cards comfortably and even 4 cards if you want to cram it. For instance, you can put your ID and paper thin insurance card in the case along with 2 CC's if you're so inclined. This may be important for some people. This case also has a lip over the front screen which offers slightly more protection than Case-mate's ID case that historically did not cover the front of the phone. After rocking the iPhone 5 naked for a couple of weeks, I will say this case seems awfully thick compared to the naked phone. However, when compared with my iPhone 4S with the Case-mate case, it's about the same thickness. I guess once I get used to it, it won't be a big deal any more. The rubber used on this case is somewhere between a hard shell and a soft elastic rubber. If I had to describe it, I would say it feels like the rubber duckies used in bath toys. While I'm not really interested in dropping the phone to see how well this protects it, I think it'll definitely help with cushioning the phone from the drop.Overall, I would recommend it. If you must have an ID case and you want one that can carry 3 to 4 cards, this is your best option (and maybe the only option at the time of this writing) right now.

Game Changer!
I get constant comments on this phone case, even at the checkout at stores. I don't know why more people don't use this because I've 100% eliminated my wallet for my daily activities; which is very nice. I still have a wallet in a safe place at home for those special occasions, but rarely need it. One drawback, if you lose your phone which also contains your credit card and ID, you are in BIG trouble. This phone case is not for those who have difficulty losing their belongings. If that's not a concern, I see no reason not to use this case. I've dropped my phone several times on hard floors and the case legitimacy protects it. This case does not sacrifice function or protection of your phone for the function of holding your cards. This also holds your cards very securely and they do not slip out, either 1, 2 or 3 cards. This works by keeping a small tab in constant tension. It is easy to remove the cards by pushing on the small gap in opposite side of where the cards are held. Unlike other "wallet cases," this is very thin and sleek and I don't even notice a different from my old case. The buttons function great with easy access to all ports.

doesnt look sleek like a case for such a sleek phone should
Very well finished, probably will protect the phone. But it is quite bulky, doesnt look sleek like a case for such a sleek phone should. Slightly disappointed.

Awesome flexability
Good build and very smooth looking. Has a lip on front that is not too big, not too small to protect the front and has a rubbery but not that rubbery feel to it (slides in and out of pockets very easily). Hold upto 3 cards (no more) and 1 or two stays in without falling out.I use it as a weekend case (put my driving license, ATM card and Credit card in) and can lighten the load through weekend. On weekdays I use a more rigged case due to my line of work.Buttons are good quality and you do get feedback click through them (though power button is a bit feedback-less).Color is dark black and looks rich with matte finish.Very happy with it
