two double A batteries, sturdy plastic frame, and a slide switch that just works rather than a push button to break or have the rubber cover tear after a few dozen times being switched on and off. Buy a bunch now, because something this sensible is certain to get discontinued!

I bought this flashlight for my son to use around the house and generally to play with. I didn't want something that was blindingly bright, but I must say, this little guy puts out some light. I was thoroughly surprised how bright it was the first time I turned it on. The light seems pretty sturdy. The only concern I have is the switch. It seems to be a little finicky. If you push it all the way to the "on" position, the light will turn on and off when moved, as though there is a loose contact. However, when the light is in the middle of the "off" and "on" detents it works fine. As a plus, the light did include 2 AA batteries. Overall, I'm pleased with the light for the price I paid and it's intended use.

Got these for my grandchildren on their recent vacation at calico ghost town they had a blast for three days night walks with the flashlight

Poor switch. Sometimes it comes on, sometimes not. Never know what illumination you are going to get.

This is inexpensive and I didn't expect much but this is possibly the cheapest made thing I've ever bought. Every single piece was gone through to ensure that it is the thinnest, flimsiest piece of poor quality. It works and it's easy to get in and out of a pocket.

This is a great flashlight that I plan to keep in my travel kit for use in strange bedrooms.
