NIV, Pocket Thinline Bible, Leathersoft, Brown, Red Letter, Comfort Print

I’m an atheist, but Biblical study is always important for me, not only to stay well-read, but to ensure I can substantiate claims I make about the Bible. I have several larger leather-bound study Bibles that I adore (ample maps, notes, translation caveats, etc), but they’re just too big to carry around with me everywhere. I wanted something that I could take everywhere yet still have a nice, leather Bible that could be annotated in. This does all that. It literally fits into my pocket (with room leftover), the leather (or whatever leather-like substance it is, I can’t remember) feels really soft and nice and I can tell it’ll stand up to time, and the text and margins aren’t quite as crazily scaled as you’d imagine—I can highlight, add flags, and mark verses and still be able to read neighboring verses. I now being this with me everywhere as a reference to pull out if I make a claim about the Bible, or if I need to reference it in a paper/book. Definitely worth every penny.

I also love how I used regular sized Bible tabs and it still looks very nice and modern. The material feels great and it’s one of the best Bibles I’ve purchased!

This is exactly perfect in what we needed. I can't imagine why no one has shown a picture of a "pocket Bible" fitting in pocket on any review anywhere! We bought this thinking that if it didn't fit, we would return it. I looked at so many different Bibles and this one is exactly right. Jr. can tuck this into his back pocket when he goes to church or wherever, it's got a ribbon bookmark, he says it's readable, and it includes Genesis to the end.

I'm beginning my journey of reading the Bible entirely for the first time and this compact size is the best to have for me right now. I love the feel of the cover and that I can bend the spine entirely flat. Can't recommend it enough! It's really beautiful.

The media could not be loaded. Exactly what I ordered. A great travel size and though the font is small it’s still easy to read for my old eyes and that surprised me. I need to make note to figure out what kind of font this is, because undoubtedly some fonts are easier to read than others when your eyes are old and tired like mine.

I bought this Bible for a friend. The NIV Version is perfect for new readers. It's nice and small, so you can take it with you.

Came in with smaller prints than expected, but to fit the entire Bible into the size of a smart phone, one shouldn’t complain !5 stars
