Easy joy stick remote for youngsters!!!
Works fantastic!! My 2year old granddaughter works the joy stick remote great. The joy stick is a plus over others. 4 AAA batteries all togetherand ready to go. Even comes with tiny screwdriver to open and put in batteries. Some of the fine hair will come off to a minimum as stated in directions. Love to scare people when they come over. Works best on flat surfaces. Thick carpet will cause it to bine. Legs move, and red led lights for eyes light up. You do have on/off switch for the remote and bottom of spider.. Lots of fun for the young ones!! Just be carefulon kids shaking the toy, legs will break off, I let my granddaughter shake it while playing hanging on to one of the legs and it broke. Inprocess of using a weld compound to put it back on as super glue does not work connecting the plastic ends. My bad. Lol

Fun fuzzy guy!
My 4yo is obsessed with bugs and this was one of his favorites. It's super fuzzy and moves a bit slow for his tastes. The fuz does eventually rub off and the legs are super breakable if mishandled. Our spider only has 3 legs left. Remote control easy to use for young ones, and batteries aren't too expensive to replace. A+ for those bug lovin kiddos out there.

Eeehhh
I got this for my son to use on our cats. We had a cockroach that one cat was terrified of so we wanted to further aggravate our cats because you know...CATS.Out the box, the spider seemed fine. The controller felt really cheap, but that's not a huge deal. This does NOT come with batteries! It's so frustrating to get stuff and they don't have batteries or charging blocks! Once we got batteries, we noticed the spider didn't always respond to our controls. It was 50/50. Our cats sniffed it and didn't care because it never seemed to work when we tried to use it on them. Bummed out.

Fun toy for cats and pranks
I could't resist this one. My granddaughter is staying with me until school starts. She becomes undone when she sees spiders. she was sitting on the couch when it arrived, so I put batteries in it (not included), did a couple of trial runs to learn how the remote worked and sent it across the floor towards the couch. Bad news. It doesn't work on carpets, so the hairy little sucker just sat there and spun its wheels on the edge of the carpet. I should've waited until she was somewhere on the tile. I did get one of her famous eye rolls, though. What I hadn't noticed, however, was that as it was making its way across the tile, a cat was doing the wiggle butt thing on the other side of the room and came flying out from the corner and attacked it. It's now one of his favorite toys. He doesn't often come out and play, but I guess that this toy is irresistible to him and that alone makes this purchase worth it.

Flimsy, stopped working, yikes.
So, my 4 year old’s only Christmas wish was a remote controlled spider. Where he got this, I have no idea because there aren’t that many that exist. Unfortunately, I picked this remote controlled spider and it is pretty much terrible. First the positives, it’s a nice size and realistic looking and the controller is simple to use. The negatives: it is super flimsy, the wheels are tiny and even touching carpeting causing it to clog and stop working. After using it about 4 times it will no longer go forward, so it basically just spins in circles very slowly. Also one of the legs snapped off just with being picked up. Definitely would not recommend.

Our Eurasian Eagle Owl LOVES it
We are professional animal trainers who are raising a Eurasian Eagle Owl for educational shows. It is difficult to find 'toys' that simulate things he would potentially encounter once he is out. He loves to track this RC Rat and fly to it and pounce. His talons are extremely strong and he has grabbed it over and over again, but it keeps on working. We don't know how long it will last under these extreme circumstances, but we were surprised that it lasted even one day. We have tossed other similar toys in 5 minutes. We also like its size - bigger than most other RC toys like this. It is easy to control - going straight forward and turning in a tight circle when you make it go back, so you can point it in a different direction. Best on flat surface with a lot of room as it goes pretty fast (for a toy rat).

Does work good
Bought it as a prank for a co worker. You have to be within 2 feet of it to make it work and it runs the batteries down QUICK! Within 30 minutes of putting brand new batteries in it and only moving it a few inches to make sure I was in range the batteries were dead. I tried several different brands, even rechargeable and the same thing! Definitely not worth the money.

Really pleased with this spider!
This spider is great! We got it cuz our little dog goes nuts over things like this, hehe. I almost didn’t purchase it because the reviews I read were all over the place - some said it was great, others said it was a waste of money. One woman had made a video though, and I really appreciated that. I went ahead and got the spider and it did not disappoint! I received it quicker than I thought, and my dog loves barking at it. Would be nice if it were a bit sturdier and the remote signal worked just a little further away - however for the price, I think it’s a really fair value. Love how the legs jiggle as it rolls - it looks pretty convincing. I have lots of pranks planned for the weeks before Halloween, haha!
