Litcessory Extension Cable for Philips Hue/Solo Lightstrip (3.3ft, 2 Pack, White - Micro 6-PIN V4 / Solo Lightstrip)

Delicate, but is working as needed. Installed lights around the bedroom. Behind the headboard, and behind two dressers, adds a nice glow, these extensions worked perfectly. I did need to purchase a splitter after we changed the orientation of the bedroom, but so far these are working perfectly.

I was putting off getting a light strip for under my cabinets as I didn’t want it run under the microwave, but then I found Litcessory products. Before purchasing I watched the videos they provide on their website, as well as some customer made videos I found on YouTube. Some of the customer videos it was obvious that either Litcessory did not have installation videos yet, or the customer just did not know about them. I have a very good background in electrical components to include soldering, so this installation may have been a little easier for me than someone without an electrical background, but with the company’s videos, I have no doubt just about anyone could split a Philips Hue Light Strip relatively easily. The pictures I included are from before and after installation, the first is with my overhead light on, the second with only the light strip on. If you purchase this, make sure to watch the videos closely before making any cuts to the light strip. I had no issues with my cuts. The only issue I had was one of the connections on the solder points was not making complete contact so not all of the LED’s were lighting up. Easily fixed this my checking all of the connections. *note: you do not have to have soldering knowledge or ability for what I purchased, though the company does offer some products that do require soldering, so go through the website as they guide you with what you need based on which Philips Hue Light Strip you have.

This worked great with my under cabinet setup so I could extend the cable to plug in above the range microwave. Definitely worth it for your DIY projects

While I'm thankful someone made a product that actually allows for easy splitting and connecting of Hue's light strips (it's crazy Hues doesn't sell something like this) these extension cables are quite flimsy and delicate. If you bend them too many times or connect and reconnect them more than 2-3x, the connection will deteriorate and you'll get flickering light strips or light strips that won't show the full spectrum of color. Ended up wiring and soldering myself versus dealing with the connectivity issues.

Works exactly as stated. Only issue I had was one of the extension cables were bad on arrival. Needed that one to finish my shelves. But other than that these things work as designed and really easy to use

This cable provides functionality that nothing Philips Hue offers directly can. Being able to extend my light strip without just adding more lights was a huge factor in my design for our under cabinet kitchen lights, and this product along with the cut end adapters made that virtually painless. This all comes with the caveat that it is a bit more fiddly than installing the strip lights with just a cut or just using light to light extension connectors, but if you want to extend either over a range or around some other obstacle, there is nothing else that can do so as easily. The cable was plenty long enough to go up and over my range inside of my cabinets. It was easy to determine its orientation throughout the drop to confirm that it was plugged in correctly on the other side. And it has worked flawlessly to connect my split light strips and provide a clean look for our kitchen. If you're looking to tackle a similar project with Philip Hue products, this is what I would wholeheartedly recommend.

For clarity this is for the "Litcessory Extension Cable for Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus (6in, 5 Pack, White - Standard 6-PIN V3)". It seems like some of these reviews aren't for this product so wanted to be clear. I don't always understand how Amazon's star ratings work but there just can't be a way this product is 4.5 stars, none. The connectors are so bad folks. IF you can get them to work once, you might be ok. I was able to electrical tape them at just the right angle to where the connectors would make contact with the strips and work, but if you breathed on it and changed the angle it'd disconnect again. I decided to reroute my strips and use fewer of these, but when I tried disconnecting them, the pins started falling out. THE PINS FELL OUT folks. Please, there's plenty of other options out there. Maybe some are a little more $$$ but my goodness, this was 2 days of pure frustration and they're in such poor condition after having trying to disconnect them there's gotta be zero chance of a return. I'll eat the $$$ and go buy something better. Please, do your research and find something better, it's just not work the risk with other solutions out there.

So I installed some under the counter lights. My house has hue lights throughout so I wanted to use the hue light strips for my project. Watching videos talking about needing to solder the strips together had me highly intimidated on doing the project. Than I came about these. Let me tell you they are fantastic. They work wonderfully. I couldn’t be happier. All the adapters needed to complete the job. Nice and thin makes it easy to run. The cable is 1/4” wide and very flexible. Just a great product.
