No, the clippers are designed to be used with Play-Doh. All they do is “trim” the Play-Doh that has oozed out of the holes. Those clippers would not cut anything else.

Q: Is this to babyish for an eight year old? She loves doing hair and asked for play doh.

I think she would like it, but I bought it for my 2 year old who is 3 now and he still loves it.

Q: Does the play doh get stuck and clog up/ dry in the head holes? I remember that frustration well as a kid.

The Play Doh comes out. My youngest grandson made all of the sound effects with this set and had an awesome time playing with it!! I highly recommend this set!! I had bought one for Grandma and Papa’s house and one for each of my grandsons house!!

Not sure? Maybe a total of 13 items included? Because I think there are only 5 or 6 playdough canisters.
