Nice alternative to a privacy overlay screen. Blocks side view without reducing brightness.
I was looking for something that could help block prying eyes from looking at the monitors at a medical office. I had originally tried privacy screens, but the users complained of headaches. Also, since the office is very bright, the privacy screens caused the screens to be so dim, they were hard to see. Purchased a couple of these as a replacement. They worked great. Initially, I was concerned about how well they would stay on, but no issues so far. They were easy to install. This blocks side viewing and as a benefit, it helps shield the monitor from the bright overhead lights.

One Will Not Find A Better Fitting and Higher Quality Monitor Hood - Highly Recommended!
I own several of these monitor hoods in 25", 27" and 32" sizes and they have worked well for years. They reduce screen glare and greatly improve the monitor's picture - a major help in editing videos and pictures. They fit well and stay in place. If you work in a high glare, stray light area, these sunshade/monitor hoods will improve your work efficiency and reduce eye strain and fatigue. Highly recommended!

Doesn’t fit
I measured my frame width is 21 inches and the monitor from one side to the other 24 inches but this doesn’t fit. Even though the description says it does. I have to send it back.

Perfect fit for Dell u2415
Dell u2415is not listed as an applicable model for this shade but regardless, this one is a perfect fit. Great materials, good design. It works.

Not worth it
This was a fairly expensive shield that doesn't work well at all. It keeps slipping off the monitor. I could have made a better one out of an old cardboard box.

finally can see the screen in a bright room
Got this for my husband, who has his monitors next to a bright window, which made it hard to see. This works great and he can have the room as bright as he likes and still see the screen nicely.
