Whiteside Router Bits 1411 Round Nose Bit with 3/8-Inch Radius, 3/4-Inch Cutting Diameter and 1-1/4-Inch Cutting Length

Used for making grips in ends of super hard cutting boards.

I purchased this bit primarily for routing juice grooves into cutting boards, works flawlessly for this intent. I've not had any problems with tear out and put this bit through many cutting boards and it still seems to perform just as well as the day I bought it.

The media could not be loaded.  Used this to carve through oak panels for making divided door panels and it handled it well. 12000 rpm’s and a slow feed rate, left a nice finish right off the blade without any tear out or breaking the bit. In this one panel alone it traveled nearly 10 square feet of hard oak and still can handle more.I always go for Whiteside first unless they don’t have what I am looking for.

Made perfect finger grooves in several cutting boards. Crisp clean and minimal burning (more my fault than the bit)

Like all of my Whiteside router bits, this bit worked perfect when making a "juice groove" on a cutting board. No burn or tear out. I think Whiteside makes the very best bits.

The media could not be loaded.  Awesome bits. I won’t buy another brand as long as they stay in America! Quality is there, amazing for juice grooves, they don’t burn the wood and leave amazing results.

They arrived so needed a long 3/4 round nose bit to rout some juice flutes in cutting boards. I have a template that I use with a 1" template guid' I . I did 4 boards taking a 1/16 t0 1/8 on each pass, so that added up to a lot of passing. So after routering all the boards the bit was as sharp as the first pass. (Maple cutting boards) So I would defiantly recommend this bit.

The Whiteside bit was well made and sharp.
