These boxes are great! They hold 8 cartridges and the overlays. They're not made to hold your full cartridges along with their booklets. There isn't enough room to hold 8 booklets, overlays and the carts. These really are meant to hold the carts that don't come with booklets...the Solutions cartridges and the Seasonal Cartridges. Also, they have a hard time holding the little papers that come with the Solutions carts once you get it full with 8 of them. And...forget about also cramming the thin cardboard sheets that having the Seasonal images printed on them. These boxes are NOT holding all of that. What I finally did was rubber band all that paperwork together and put it next to this big box. It's still a great solution for people who like to keep their carts in boxes. When you open the Solutions or Seasonal carts those cartridges are just begging to be misplaced, because they don't come in a box of any kind.Do you know the meaning behind the box colors? When I bought mine, I didn't...I just liked orange, so that's what I bought! LOL! Well, the orange box is for Font Cartridges and the blue box is for Shape Cartridges. How about that?! That's also how you can identify what a cartridge mostly contains. Now, it's true that a blue boxed cartridge can have a full font on it...like Cricut Winter Woodland Shape Cartridge and still be a Shape cart and vice versa. For example, Cricut 29-0589 Cartridge Storybook is a Font Cartridge, but it has a lot of Shapes/Images on it.I hope this is helpful to you. For those that are not pleased with the quality, the quality is the same as the boxes the cartridges come in from the store. I see nothing wrong with it, and it works just the same as the single box, except you can hold more and take up less space. It is true if you do want to hold 8 cartridges in this you will not be able to fit in the books, but you will be able to fit in the overlays. It clearly says that in the description though, so it in not like they are deceiving you.... If you are storing the solutions cartridges this is perfect, because they have no books, if you are storing cartridges with books, you can get 4 cartridges with their books and overlays in this. Overall I like it a lot, it is a space saver and fits on the shelf right along side my other cricut cartridge boxes.

This is a handy little box to hold all those loose cartridiges and keypads for themes that don't come with their own storage boxes. There is room for eight cartridges and keypads...Period. I also store the cardboard from the back of the original cartridge packages so I can tell what's on the cartridges, but I have to rubber band the box to keep it shut. It's not made for those extra eight little pieces of paper.Not the greatest invention since the mousetrap, but inexpensive and does the job until something better is designed.

Bought one each for my girlfriend and mom as gifts and they both love them! They were always wondering how what the best way to store the cartridges that didn't come in those nice little boxes would be, and this offered them a really great solution. The cartridges fit in nicely, as well as the accompanying pads and paperwork. If you have a bunch of those little cartridges floating around, or are looking to save space with the rest of the cartridges, this is the product for you!

Good idea but needs work. The cartridge insert holds the cartridges securely but falls out of the box when opened. The insert is very flimsy. The storage binder is not a binder, it's a box with two open storage sides. It's a tight squeeze to fit the books and cartridge inserts into the box, when you open the box, surprise! everything on one side falls out.I was looking for a smaller storage solution for workshops. But, for the price and inconvenience it's not worth it. The Artbin Super Satchel that holds 16 cartridges and needed books is in Amazon right now for about one dollar more. Cricut must have a chaotic sense of humor.

I wanted something that would hold all of my cartridge items together. But this product is cheaply made and poorly designed. It's flimsy plastic that the cartridges go into, and I don't know how anyone could fit the 8 corresponding overlays. I'd prefer being able to keep the carts, overlays, AND books in the same organizer, and this surely is not it.

The box is coming apart and every thing falls out when I open it!! I need to remind myself you get what you pay for

I love these storage containers for my cricut cartridges. I don't need the books so this holds everything I need and easy to store on the shelf. I even added a label on the outside so I can see everything I have. I bought 2 and will probably buy more!
