CESS-031S Fork Spade Plug to Binding Post Banana Female Adapter Cable - 2 Pack (Small Spade)

I have a pair of Pioneer HPM-100 speakers (1979) that uses pin connectors. I can't modify these connectors to female banana connectors as the crossover network is mounted to the pin connector base. My solution was to replace the CESS fork spade connectors with large (yellow) pin connectors. This allowed me to use my (banana connectors) directly on my retro speakers. It worked perfectly as it looks like the 12ga wire used is silver or silver plated. My music streamer likes the connections as I'm getting better details and bass over the homemade pin connectors I was using previously. No danger of my speakers shorting out by contact with each other as the total CESS wiring is insulated from positive/negative shorting speaker connections.

Exactly as intended, adapt heavy speaker cables with banana cnx to fit receiver that has screw terminals. High quality and solid.

This was perfect for my Vintage Fisher that only had small screw-on terminals. The spade fit perfectly and allowed me to screw the terminal screw down nice and tight so it won't move. The banana plug ends fit a variety of plugs, and even screw off and allow you to wrap bare wire around it instead.The spades can be bent slightly to meet your needs. I didn't feel any worry regarding them breaking while adjusting them to an appropriate angle. While the length was a bit more than I needed, but allows for some more flexibility to ensure wires are properly placed and don't interfere with each other.If you have a receiver with older style terminals that you can't seem to get a good wire to wrap around, these are a must have to make enjoyment of music so much easier when you're set up, or decide to switch out a set of speakers.

The spade forks were a little big since I’m using them to connect to older equipment, but were easy enough to crimp down, and actually got a really good connection. They work great, and the sound is clear and unhampered. Pushing 110Watts of 1970’s power to a pair of Bose 901’s, these spade forks were just the right tool.

The small spade lugs fit the older McIntosh amps perfectly.

Works exactly as advertised. I use it to convert the banana plug speaker cable endings to spade, since the new speakers I bought require the latter. The cables were custom made and I didn't want to cut them up. The item works as advertised and I'd buy it again if needed.

Well-made seemingly gold-plated connectors. Good fit for 4mm banana plugs. 6-inch 12AWG soft silicone 200C wire has nominal 0.001 Ohm resistance (according to SDM 3055).
