This grooming razor is surprisingly quiet compared to what I was expecting. My bichon goes to a groomer once a month but I wanted something I could use to thin out or tidy any hair needed in between grooms. It has a dial that you turn to move a guard up and down, with it set to take the smallest amount off at one time it means I have more confidence that I won't mess up as I'm certainly no dog groomer, just an owner trying to keep her fur baby comfortable!I don't doubt these clippers could be used in a professional setting but again I'm not a groomer so they might feel different. They are actually easy to hold and manoeuvre, I've used the human kind on my husband and I've had some that I could hardly keep in my hand as they were too big which makes you frightened of messing up but I didn't get that feeling with these.They're easy to hold, low vibration which is great and don't get too hot either. I haven't needed the added combs as I won't be doing a full body groom myself but they feel good quality rather than cheap and flimsy. The grooming comb and scissors are a bonus too

My mums dog was in such a need for a good cut, he used to go to groomers but the last time they charged my mum double!He is a cavapoo very thick, dense tight curls so you can imagine normal clippers don't go through his fur.After lots of reviews we opted for these as others had used them on similar type fur, and they work amazing the only issue the blades got hot, I had to stop start, but he was real long and matted in places so took probably longer than normal, will see how they go on his next cut.They charged quickly with USB wire.

We have a standard poodle and her coat gets really thick. These clippers are the best ones I've bought. They make the job so much easier to do and in less than half the time than the more expensive ones I've bought in the past

These work great in between professional grooming. They charge pretty quickly and battery last a long time. Not too noisy and come with everything you need to home groom

Another cheap Chinese product! When am I going to learn? The blade kept snagging on my doodles curls. It's noisy and the charge soon ran down. As soon as I have the money together I will invest in a REAL professional one. This one is neither for thick coats, curls , nor is it professional.

Yet to use it for a long period of time however getting the blade off and back on is very complicated, and the instructions are awful you could easily break something.

It works very well. No fuss shave. Only issue is when attachments are attached the shaver is all of a sudden very loud which my dog doesn't like.
