Telechron Wooden Starburst Clock

Awesome Looking clock! Nice to have new options available for sunbrust clocks so you do not have to restore the vintage ones. Takes a AA battery instead of having a cord like the vintage ones as well. Wood is a pretty orange brown. The black and chrome is nice and shiny. Many have complained here about not being able to read this clock. We are not having any issues with reading it. It shows up well since the clock hands are wider than the numeric indications on the face. It is a good size for a bedroom or bathroom. Maybe too small for a large room (if you want to read the clock from across the room.) Overall very happy.

I'm a sucker for all things mid century modern, so my review may be a bit skewed. Forewarning mentioned, on to the review!The product looks excellent. It's durable enough and there are no obvious visable flaws when viewed up close. The picture is very true to the actual product. The wood comprising the rays is left natural and has a slightly orange appearance; it is not laquered or varnished. That said, one could easily paint the rays if they were of the mind to do so.The clock functions perfectly and keeps time accurately enough. Within a year, I haven't had to change the time due to it running slow or fast.

While neither as robust in construction nor a silent as the A. Cerco Wooden and Metal atomic style clock, the Telechron Wooden Starburst Clock is well made, and after almost 3 months of use, keeps accurate time. It does tick. Unless you have significant hearing loss, you will hear it. But holy heck, it's a good-looking timepiece, well-proportioned and tasteful.

Absolutely beautiful clock! Keeps perfect time and adds to a room immeasurably. The clock face is easy to read and the soft, gentle ticking is soothing.

Looks cute, fits right in with my mid century modern decor. Not very large but just the right size for the space I had in mind for it.

So we love the look, but it's impossible to read. It's been too long to return it, so I finally decided I'd try to remedy the issue myself. Orange nail polish. It turned out well! Didn't weigh the hands down too much to mess with time-keeping. It's a bummer that the fix needed to be made, but worth it because I love this clock!

This clock is absolutely perfect! It is not too large and not too small. Definitely read the dimensions and measure before buying. It fits perfectly in my kitchen!

Love the clock. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, and it seems to keep very accurate time. It was a tad bit smaller than I thought, but it looks perfect on my tan wall. My furniture is the same color orange that's in the clock. What a perfect accent! The delivery was faster than originally estimated. The packing was the only thing that wasn't up to par. It was packed in a very large oversized box. The clock, which was in it's own box with a clear film cover, was placed face down (film cover), inside the box. Then a ton of protective paper was placed on top to keep it from moving around. The problem was that there was no protection on the bottom of the box. If the box was thrown and landed on the bottom, or if it was housed between heavy items during shipping, it may have damaged the clock. But, it survived and I gave it a very good home.
