It was ok

Quirky comedy. Was enjoyable.

I genuinely didn’t know if this was authentic until I played the disc. The cover of the Blu-ray looked like it was printed on an old printer that was running out of ink. Nevertheless, it was an authentic copy, just not as pictured.

This movie has been a favorite of mine ever since I first discovered it as a middle schooler in the early naughts. It wasn't the first bit of queer cinema I had the pleasure of discovering, nor the second, but it def. has its place as one of the things I watched in that heady adolescent stage of knowing who I was but not quite being ready to let the world know. All these years later in my thirties, and of those early movies that helped me through that chapter of my life it is absolutely my favorite. I have lost count of the number of times I have seen it. I mean truly, what's not to love? It's hilarious, super camp, full of beyond iconic lines, the set and costume design is out of this world, the cinematography serves every shot perfectly and the cast is simply unbelievable.

I'm so grateful I had this movie as a queer teen, it helped me a lot with identity issues. The camp level is insane.

The film looked great! My memory of the film is through a lens of a VHS tape. The digitization really brings the costume and set design to life. Loved the addition of the Ione Skye cautionary tale. We showed this at our weekly "You're the Inspiration: Queer Movie Socials" and it was very popular! So many famous faces in the film!
