Perfect gadget for chocolate making
I bought this melting pot a few months ago but it took me awhile to start using it. And oh boy, was I glad that I bought it! I make chocolates, and keeping my chocolate at the right temperature for dipping was always challenging. This melting pot is perfect for it! I can get distracted during the dipping process and it's OK because the chocolate stays just at the right temperature. Absolutely love it!

Works great, but I received a wrong lid
I got this for my Mom, an enthusiast chocolatier, and she absolutely loves it.Unfortunately though, one of the lids that came with the set does not fit on either of the pots- it's just a bit too big somehow.Not sure if this is a common issue, or if it's just ours- but it doesn't bother my mom much when she's using it.

Professional Cafe
We use this at our Crepe shop to help melt the chocolate also. We use it for strawberries and many other fruits and goods that we sell at our successful Cafe. Very reliable and I ve been using it for many years . You won't find anything better

Temp guage
It's a decent product but the heating elements engage at different dial locations so unsure of actual temp which was the whole point in buying it as chocolate requires care and gentle heat when melting.

Decent melting pot for Chocolate
Got this to temper chocolate which is way better than a double boiler. Have melted a few pounds of chocolate easily with the melting pot.A couple of things I would of like to see improved is first the pot handle has bolts on the inside of the pot. These bolts on the inside of the pot disrupt the path of my stirring tools. Chocolate gets stuck between these bolts all the time but this is very small draw back.The thermostat on the heating pad is a little off. Defiantly use a good candy thermometer if you're going to use this to melt and temper your chocolate.Overall I would recommend this to new chocolatiers wanting to up their tempering skills short of getting a more expensive unit.
