SimpliSafeGlassbreak Sensor - 20ft. Range - Sound Detection Technology - Compatible with The SimpliSafe Home Security System - Latest Gen

I placed this break glass sensor on my patio doors opposite an open/close sensor to compliment my system.While I’ve not broken any glass to test it as it would then call them alarm company it installed well and seems good.

We bought this additional feature to add to our security system after some home break ins in our neighborhood.Installation- took maybe 2 minutes, maximum 5 minutes if you fully read the instructions. It is as simple as using your key pad to set up a new device then peeling off the sticky backing to stick to a wall.Quality- as expected when compared to other simplisafe devices. made of the same thick, white plastic material that is visually pleasing (also easy to blend into home setting). We have only had this for a few months and have not had to change the battery yet (will update when that day comes) BUT I am very happy with how little we have to change batteries on other simplisafe items so my hopes are high.I'm glad we paid the little money extra to get this as it offers peace of mind

We somehow lost our glass break sensor when painting and had to replace it. The new one came quickly and is easy to install into the system. I wish the after system purchases of components were less expensive, as we have been good customers for years.

I love how anything you buy whether it's door alarms, glass, breaking, freezing temperatures, water, carbon monoxide, or a fire alarm that it's all connected to the SimpliSafe system and will contact the authorities for you. It is an amazing peace of mind to have!! I actually just upgraded to the newer version because I had the other one for so long

Is a glass break sensor so not sure why it asks for a star rating for motion detection. Would assume it works but hopefully wont have windows broken so i will never find out for sure
