After losing a crop of onions at the allotment to leaf miner bugs I did some research on what to do.Eco netting came highly recommended so I decided to buy some. It's got very small guage holes which will prevent bugs getting in and laying their eggs on the veg. Although it's to late for the onions I've put it over several othe crops and I'm hopeful it will give the necessary protection. I can't comment yet on it's effectiveness, I can say that it's simple to use.Obviously it's not suitable for anything that needs to be pollinated by bee's etc.

The net is fine. We used these on redcurrant and blueberry bushes with good effect butAfter this season will have to replace, at least, the cord if we can. Otherwise they’re scrap. The UV has rotted the drawstring

Does the job - I would recommend.

Used to cover a cloche frame, extremely fragile netting and was expecting something that’d hold its shape better for the price.. ensured I was very gentle when handling this netting and yet still managed to caused holes to easily appear. Luckily the fibres slide around easily enough so could mostly gently pinch it back to close up the most of the hole but means it’s permanently got bigger gaps in certain parts..

Used to net an apple tree which is loved by the birds. Works very well.

Nice big size net but really quite fragile. I'd be surprised if it makes it to autumn. Just at start of summer now.

Trying this in my garden for the first time so didn't want to spend a lot. It's doing its job of keeping butterflies off my cabbage seedlings so far but it is very weak and tears easily so I don't expect it to last more than one growing season. As a proof of concept it is worth the money but I will invest in something stronger next yeàr.
