American Girl Guy Stuff Feelings: Everything You Need to Know about Your Emotions

Reading this w/ my 10 yr old. It's been great to start conversations and get him comfortable asking questions

My 6th grade has had enough with Covid. His mood has really changes and seems to express emotions in a way he never has before. I purchased this version from American Girl when my daughter was a preteen. I was so pleased to find this book for my son. He reads it independently and then we are able to have great discussions about his feeling of why and how to express them in appropriate ways!A perfect book for a preteen male!

This book has been SO helpful in talking to my son about his feelings. I have the other Guy Stuff Body book, so bought this one too. This book is a GREAT reference when you have a little one who is having trouble working out what they are feeling. Everything isn't just MAD. It has helped us both talk about hard feelings together and I have recommended it to lost of people we know.

Straight to the point, factual, and very age appropriate. My 11 year old enjoys it. There are enough words vs pictures to keep him engaged. Highly recommend for growing boys. We talk about things but this gives him a chance to read it on his own as well if he wants.

The wording in this book is appropriate for younger boys. My son is 9 and I felt that this book covered what he needed to know but without going too in depth with every detail. I recommend it for any young boy starting puberty
